Elle, Maddy has been 'crawling' for weeks. She's very (too) fast but doesn't do it on her knees. You're right, he should be able to do things for himself. X

you can't just forget MH issues though can you, if you could the nhs would be be a lot better off, no more paying for counselling, therapy and pills just tell the patients to get over themselves.

no maybe not ... and suppose in that repect in a way i may not understand but believe me i have been through things and decided to fight i still have issues but they're my issues and dont put them on to people or lash out then blame these issues ... i know from what feelies told me shes had one hell of a hard ride but i like to think thats a fighter in everyone x

I'm back from the hospital and am shattered. Please can i have a healthy baby once he is over this. He has gastroenteritis. They kept him in over night he still isn't keeping milk down and had very bad diarrhoea but he is keeping most of the rehydration fluid down him and his obs and stats were ok so they have let him go home on an 24 hr open acess. His temp dropped back to normal within a few hours and he has slept most of the time.

He has lost half a pound which is alot for him so he is back to being 9lb at nearly 4 months. I have got to take him back in a week and if he doesn't come back on the 0.4th centile then they will admit him to hosptial for a week to mointor his weight. But that week is my ds1 bday so i am hoping H can get over this quickly and start to gain weight again but i can't see he will put on that much in a week when he is still having diarrhoea.

I of course want and need to put H health first but i am torn and feel ds1 is missing out of mummy and daddy time. He stayed with grandparents last night. I wanted his bday week to be so special and fun for him as he is off school and hubby is off work we wanted to take him out.
I have booked a party for him so at least he has that but it won't be very nice for him if me or hubby are at the hospital with H all week.

  • Elasti - Poor little mite! Hope he gets over this soon and fingers crossed he starts to put on weight.
How old is DS1? Will he be aware of the day and know it's his birthday? Would you be able to make a different day special and celebrate his birthday a bit late?

Oh Elasti, (((hugs))) needed. You will have to have a special birthday day out for one on one time the week after. But fingers crossed it doesn't happen. Get well vibes sent. XXXXXXXX
