a few years ago, DH wanted to get a dog but i said no, cos we both worked full time and its not fair on a dog to be indoors for 9 or 10 hours a day and only getting a proper long walk once a week.
still flaming goes on about it though.... PIL have a sheep dog so he takes that for a walk every now and then'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Tara could you suggest that one of your brood walk the dog to earn some pocket money (if thats ok with you) or is she a good enough friend that you can point out to and not loose the friendship?0 -
Okay, i'm gonna cross the line here no doubt.
From what i can gather, she cheated on her husband and got pregnant, doesn't know who the dad is. Husband stuck by her (does he even know). She gets post natal depression?
I was fiercely loyal to someone i love(d) and for his own reasons he f*cked off and hid with his mother, more than likely because of his drugs issue (which are just as, if not more prevelant in those middle class folk).
Soooooo who is it that doesn't deserve their child maintenance/benefits/whatever.
My daughter will at least learn to stand on her own two feet rather than relying on a MAN to live her life through.
I'd love to go to work, but hey i might damage my baby, right? (actually i will be going to work, when Amber is a lil bit bigger, i don't consider myself dolescum just yet lol!!)0 -

Speaking of child, why has my daughter not got out of bed yet? She is soooo lazy.
from the day i was born til now theres alot i dont talk about useless its to philip as i dont see the need to drag my present and my possible future of friends and happiness in to that ...

Afternoon all..
Rhys slept through last night so no mysteriously appearing in our bed in the middle of the nightI actually woke up expecting him to be there next to me when I opened my eyes..
Physio was her usual cheerful self - not! She managed a vague smile and "that's an improvement on his sitting" while he sat there for a few minutes (all she'll let him do before she pulls him into a different position) *sigh* Next thing is to get him kneeling so he crawls. I did ask why they couldn't just leave him be and see if he's one of those babies who just doesn't crawl, but she said she "would prefer him to crawl" so wants him "trained" to crawl even if that wasn't the direction he was going to go in naturally  Got another appointment with her in two weeks but I'll see how he's getting on by the day before then phone to "rearrange" it if I don't fancy seeing herI mentioned going back to work and she frowned - errr, she works, doesn't she?! She asked who was looking after Rhys (resisted the urge to tell her I was leaving him in a cupboard
) and when I said Mum she suggested Mum was here next time so she could show his "main carer" what to do..... MAIN CARER, !!!!!!?! Since when did 25hrs out of the 168hrs in a week qualify as his "main carer"?!
Anyway, onwards and upwards.. I'll help him but I'm not going to force or "train" him into doing anything he doesn't likeWill see how he gets on then cancel it the day before if I want to.
We have Rhys' room buddy coming over later (who is older, does less than Rhys but lives in the wrong area to be covered by these physios so doesn't get all this nonsense!) so I have to make lunch for me and his mum soon before Rhys wakes up0 -

Checking in for some gossip and company.
Last night was rubbish twice I had to bath her because she was sick everywhere and then she was wide awake for hours and wanting cuddles. OH has come down with a horrible cold so I couldn't wake him and ask him to do it.
Today is definately a sit down and watch movies day!
First up is New Moon. Whoop whoop
Hope you enjoy the rest. I've got this lined up for Wed. I'm currently addicted to the books. My friend gave me the book to read when I was pregnant but I just couldn't get the enthusiasm to pick it up. Started it last week and I've only got a few pages of New Moon to read. It's on my desk and I'm itching to pick it up0
