I have a neighbour like that too tara. She's been a single parent for a year and works 4 days a week. She only lets the dog out on the back garden. Sometimes he's left all night if she stays over at her new fellas house. Feel sorry for the dog, I don't doubt she loves the dog but it's not really fair.

3 as lorraine kelly said ... ricky martin was the last to know ricky martin is gay :rotfl:x
:rotfl:I think the only reason he denied it for so long was because he thought people wouldn't like him or something, isn't he from some part of south America? maybe its not as tolerant, more strict Catholics aren't there *shrug*

I think feely has had her fair share of bad karma, that's how she ended up with most of her issues :( I'm not trying to belittle what you've been though but well I dunno, lets just move on shall we

You probably can't really say anything Tara, without causing upset. I know it's not fair to the dog though.

My friend - When his wife died, he took on her 2 dogs. One ran away.....and he still has the other dog. He has had it on the RSPCA rehoming website for about 4 years or so now, they won't take it. He' about 12, arthrtic and has fits - not exactly canine of the year. So anyways, he has to work to keep a roof over his head, can sometimes be 12 hours a day, the dog has to stay in the kitchen. It's cruel and it's rubbish but what can he do? He now has a flatmate though so the dog is more looked after now.

This dog is beautiful, and I'm a non-dog person. But it's such a small house and it never goes out. Oh well, not biatching about it, just feel sad. Just have to hope they do what's best. X

GOOD NEWS!!!!! i did a 3 point turn .. first time NO stalling and he was impressed and ... and ... and ... my theory is on the 14th of april so if people wanna help by random putting theory questions in there posts i wouldnt mind :o heehee x

    Yay well done :j

That's what I messed up on my first test. The examiner was horrible. I was 17 and as we were walking to the car, I just said "nice day isn't it?" as it was sunny to break the ice and he glared and me and snapped "we're here to drive not chit chat" :o

Got myself so worked up with his attitude, I ended up having a panic attack during the three point turn and I was concentrating so much on breathing, I forgot what I was supposed to be doing and just ended up bouncing the car backwards and forwards off each kerb :o

Got a cancellation and a nicer instructor and passed with ease three weeks later though :D

Speaking of dogs, I have an awkward situation. I'm very uncomfortable with someone I know who has a lovely dog, it hasn't been out properly for months. They are too busy to walk it. I've said I think they should re-home it but nothing has changed. The dog just gets let out on a small decked area to go toilet then back in again. How do I just ignore something that's wrong but not poke my nose in. They're good friends btw.

Is there another reason for not walking the dog? Mine didn't get walked much when I had SPD as I struggled walking full stop and just couldn't manage taking them out :o

Maybe you could politely mention a new dog walking service you noticed and thought they might be interested :A

Got part 1 of my essay finished and I'm happy with that and have a rough idea of what I want to do in part 2. Have read Northern Rock's annual report from 2006 and pulled out the bits I want to use. Now I have to link their strategy planning with the theorists I read in the course texts, and then talk about how and why the strategy didn't work and they got nationalised. Thrilling stuff eh? :D
Here I go again on my own....

That's true SM. My childhood is like something out of a David Peltzer book. It's how you choose to handle the situation. Either wallow in self misery, or just get on with your life.

Speaking of child, why has my daughter not got out of bed yet? She is soooo lazy.

Speaking of which, presumably (based on the discussion I've just read from yesterday evening), not everyone has seen Feelie's apology.

You're all a bunch of skiving lazy good-for-nothing benefit spongers - get a job and stop breeding babies you cannot afford.......

    Please forgive me.......

Sorry but this was done to prove that anyone can say something then apologise, means little unless it was meant in the first place - not through pressure, but through genuine remorse! :D
