Completely agree with this... I was on my own with A and didn't get much family support until she was much older (walking and talking older) but she's always been a very independany child, happy to go off with people... She had a bit of a wobble when she was about 2 1/2 that lasted until the 2nd day of nursery... I made sure I did everything I could to make it easier on her, (stayed with her in the church creche instead of leaving when she wasn't looking which seems to be a favourite...) We also co-slept and breastfed until she was nearly 3...

My friends little girl was so clingy, she wouldn't let anyone else pick her up even if her Mum was in the room... My friend had to stop working because she wouldn't even stay with her Dad... She was not an attached parent, no co-sleeping at all... It was purely personality...

I was getting funny looks in a coffee shop last week cos I gave Jack some of my cake and dipped my finger in mt hot chocolate for him - it could have been just because he was being a noisy !!!!!!!

I do exercise Sami, it's just that at the moment I undo it all by pigging out too much.

SM - oh fresh pineapple ages since I had it, would it be ok with the pre-prepped but not in tins pineapple? A whole pineapple would go to waste before Katie and I could eat it all.

Glam - If we order a hot chocolate with cream - we don't get the cream Katie has it. It's how I discovered her first tooth, the spoon scraped it when I was feeding her the cream!
