Oh, forgot to tell you all, Amber has cracked drinking from a sippy cup (the free TT one you get from the HV) :D She looked really excited when she worked out that if she closed her mouth and sucked, she got more juice! Then she screamed ta me when I took it off her.
    Free cup from HV?

In fact, should I be seeing my HV? Haven't had a home visit since the one after Andrew came home. I take him to clinic for weighing, and they always ask how I'm doing and whether I've got any other problems. But should I be having home visits too? (with free sippy cups? :D )

Am had a valve cup where she sucked to get juice out, health visitor told me to get a free flowing cut so she learns the difference between a bottle teat and a cup.

All very well but i now have to mop the kitchen floor repeatedly when she goes up and door in her walker shaking it directly on the floor lol

We get a visit at weaning time, anywhere between 3 and 6 mths really and they bring a bookstart book bag with free books and a wee place mat and weaning info, a TT sippy cup and a toothbrush.

    Maybe different up here?

Anyhow, positive thinking and all that, I've decided that my DGD is just a little Diva who loves all the attention. And I refuse to think of anything else!!!

Glam 'they' say to not use the valve cups but I can't remember why.
we didn't use them for Chris coz I was doing as I was told but had no problems so doing the same for Ed - although atm he's getting water from a bottle to try to get him used to them.
He likes to sit swinging his arm spraying the floor with water from the TT cup though

Tigs - I'd deffo ask HV about visits, you get free books too :)
