Marriage, hmmm...
Now I could be contraversial, here goes. After a few relationships I find myself feeling that there is more to it than just loving someone. First you fancy them, so attraction, then you fall in love with them and they should become a friend. But that is not enough for me (*ducks*). I want a man that can support his family, and I don't mean a big wage but someone who goes to work each day and does his best. Someone my children can look up to and say 'when I grow up I want to be like Daddy'. I want someone that when I have a problem, ie DD in labour, he can step in and take over and is not adverse to taking on anything in the house. I want someone who can sort a problem, leaky roof (or gets a man who can) sort the bills as well as me so that I'm not the only one with house responsibilties. So now I've typed that I suppose it's someone who shares the load. A man I am comfortable with and is making sure that as we get older together that out future is safe.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Beenie, groups of people congregating outside your house is intimidation... Surely worth an extra complaint?
OH and I watched that when I was about 35 weeks pg :rotfl:workinmummy wrote: »I wish Alex could get the snot out. It just seems to be stuck in his head rattling around. Poor thing. Though last night, i put a cushion under his fitted sheet, so he was propped up slightly, he went to bed at 9pm. I woke at 4.10am, and proceeded to lie awake wondering why the hell he hadn't woke, but could here his snuffly breathing on the monitor. He started making noises at 4.40am, i raced to him, dreamfed him for 10 mins and he was out again until 7am.:j:j
I am so chuffed, after weeks and weeks of sleep deprivation, I managed to get some sleep and so did he.Chuffed ! Chuffed! Chuffed!
GO ALEX :j:j
Jack slept til 5.10am. Must have been a night for it. BUT I don't know if it was because I gave him the Nelsons teethign powder before bed or because I Dreamfed him at 10pm cos he fell asleep having his bedtime bottle. I was debating a pillow - it's on my list of things to try!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Glam - can you think of any reason why I can't make up the Hipp Goodnight Milk in advance?
I have it in my head that it is different to other milk and 'HAS' to be made fresh but I may be making it up?
Asking glam cos I know she makes up all her bottles up in advance and has used the goodnight milk but I guess I will let anybody answer
Hehe - WELL, the goodnight one is the only one I make fresh! I'm not sure whyI tend to sterilise 8 bottles in one go around 5pm, then I make the Goodnight milk at 6.30pm along with 3 bottles for the next day. The following day at 6.30pm I do the same with the bottles I sterilised the night before. IYSWIM.
Decided to look into Mystery Shopping, joined up to a few sites and there are 2 available in town next week! :j But I'm not sure the tax implications, I don't mind being self employed and paying the teax but not sure if I would risk losing my SMP.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Tia the more you share about having Christopher and all you went through and how you were treated, the more in awe of you I am for being willing to have Amber. What an extraordinary generous mummy you are. I really admire you
I tried some local aneasthetic gel which DH uses to numb gums before injecting. 10% Lidocaine I believe...Does that sound as strong as your one? Probably not... Would I be able to get it though without a script?
xxx
No, I would never have aimed to have another baby, that thought terrified me. It was more that once I was pregnant by accident, I was too scared to have a termination and deal with the guilt and self loathing I would have felt afterwards. (and I mean those would have been my feelings, I am not anti-abortion, but I didn't expect myself to have such a strong desire not to do it when I found my self in that situation) Then I was happy and cheeful through my pregnancy as a rebellion against everyone else being worried and telling me I was doing the wrong thing.
The gel, no idea what it was. My pharmacist gave it to me for the boys when they had chicken pox on their willies. If it was enough to numb them, then I thought it may have been enough for you. But thinking on it, it only numbs the skin, and if the problem is the nerves... Still go speak to your pharmacist, they may be able to think of more ideas than your GP since they specialise in the drugs themselves.0 -
