Weezl, along the same lines, I was worried about not being able to feed Amber due to how I stopped BF DS2. A rather large nurse tried to 'sort him out' when he was quite happy lying playing with the milk that was dripping into his mouth. She grabbed my boob and his head and attempted to latch him on using the 'bang them together and eventually they will stick' theory that you see snotty faced children using on bricks. Because I was still very vulnerable from his birth (emotionally and mentally more than physically, though tbh there was no way I could have fought her off anyway) I sat there numb with shock. When she eventually went away I threw DS2 back in his incu, walked upto my ward told the midwives to tell NICU that he would now be formula fed and refused to touch him the rest of that day. My breast was agony where she had grabbed me, I think the pain was in my head rather than physical, it didn't feel like mastitis pain, it just felt sore and I could have ripped it off my body quite happily. To this day I can still remember that pain.

Also, did you ever try a local aesthetic gel for expressing? You could probably use the stuff they use to catheterise males, maybe speak to your local chemist if they are nice?

Tia the more you share about having Christopher and all you went through and how you were treated, the more in awe of you I am for being willing to have Amber. What an extraordinary generous mummy you are. I really admire you :)

I tried some local aneasthetic gel which DH uses to numb gums before injecting. 10% Lidocaine I believe...Does that sound as strong as your one? Probably not... Would I be able to get it though without a script?

I probably could appeal/request a promotion to Band 3, but i don't think i'd get the support of the other neighbours because she is very strange and doesn't get involved with anything, it was her son who told me he hears it and i'm not sure he'd do it or be taken seriously.

They were asking me what the neighbours are "doing". They were expecting me to say they hurl bricks through my window once a week or something equally illegal but there isn't really anything i can physically say so it makes my case look weak. I feel intimidated, and dread leaving the house in case i see them, and they are driving me potty with their persistent NOISE!!!

Thing is, if i use their noise as my only argument, then their priority would be to evict them rather than move me.

And now that i've discovered i'm not allowed a 3 bed until 4 years time, i am now angry that i can't enjoy my life here because i'd rather stay here til i can get somewhere bigger!

The whole situation is seriously making me consider taking my ex back, because they can't just say it's all in my head if someone else witnesses the noise/looking in my window/more noise/the fact they have loads of their cronies round and stand in front of my house making me feel too scared to go out cos they're all chavvy scum.

Did you know that semen is as useful to your current situation ingested as it is otherwise administered ;)

If you get my drift :D
I love Michael McIntyre's joke on this and Raspberry leaf tea... "Can't you just w*nk in the tea?" :rotfl::rotfl:

Beenie, groups of people congregating outside your house is intimidation... Surely worth an extra complaint?

Beenie, I hear you with the moving and crap neighbours. I have the irrational weirdos downstairs who report me for coughing!

Thing is Im still on the council list for outside Aberdeen - Aberdeenshire, and I've been on that 4 years now and they still think I live at my mums with OH and Keira in a bedroom *cough I forgot to tell them cough*

and I AM NOWHERE EVEN NEAR BEING HOUSED. I actually might phone them up today and moan, it's the only way I'll get out of this rotten beetle infested building.

Plus!!!! There was a perfect 2bed bungalow in my mums street, whilst I was still living there and did they give it to me? NOOO THEY GAVE IT TO TWO GAY PEOPLE, now Im not against gays or lezzies or whatever you wanna do, but they clearly only got that house to meet some sort of Aberdeen douchebag minority quote. Because how do 2 men who moved from London, rented privately for 3months, then get offered that by the council? IT ISNT FAIR

Oh yeah and they are mega loaded too, so why the hell they were in council housing is beyond me. Though one of them got messed up in the head as he was the forensic dude who had to do Holly & Jessica :(

BUT STILL!, should of been my house and now they have went and swapped with two crustys from London, SO MEHHHH I WANT MY HOUSE I WANT A HOUSE I WANT AWAY FROM HEEERREEE

I wish Alex could get the snot out. It just seems to be stuck in his head rattling around. Poor thing. Though last night, i put a cushion under his fitted sheet, so he was propped up slightly, he went to bed at 9pm. I woke at 4.10am, and proceeded to lie awake wondering why the hell he hadn't woke, but could here his snuffly breathing on the monitor. He started making noises at 4.40am, i raced to him, dreamfed him for 10 mins and he was out again until 7am.:j:j

I am so chuffed, after weeks and weeks of sleep deprivation, I managed to get some sleep and so did he.Chuffed ! Chuffed! Chuffed!

  • Glam - can you think of any reason why I can't make up the Hipp Goodnight Milk in advance?

I have it in my head that it is different to other milk and 'HAS' to be made fresh but I may be making it up?

Asking glam cos I know she makes up all her bottles up in advance and has used the goodnight milk but I guess I will let anybody answer ;):D

Beenie, having groups of people congregating outside is intimidation. You really should be able to do something about it. I wish I could help :(
