ok im a terrible mum i have just smacked him and put him in his bed again, this is just a joke he is going to sleep at around 1am and is just running riot. doesnt matter what i do he doesnt care. he floods the bathroom, eats things like soap sponges or bites chunks out of things. He wont keep his nappy on and poos and pees everywhere not great when you have cream carpets and a landlord from hell who complains about every mark i have to paint and carpet clean the whole house every 3 months as he just doesnt have an understanding that he cant/shouldnt do it. it is honestly driving me mad and it just gets worse, i dont even know what a good day is anymore and the other kids are suffering as i spend so long sorting out the mess he has made and whilst i do that hes at something else. What's for you won't go past you0

Caz - would this be suitable? I haven't read it properly, so not sure if it goes over the adult seatbelt buckle or the child's carseat buckle.0

Bloody neighbour calmed down for a week, then tonight music on at 8pm and she went out at 9.40pm, so the dog is howling. I am so fed up of this! God knows what time she will decide to come home at tonight  Tranqs in a steak maybe? Spray painted sign above her door? Or just fill in the court form?0 -
OMG are you superwoman????? can you please pass me some of your patience etc lol! do you get nappies/pads etc free for DD3 as i overheard the nursey talking about this.
my main concern at the moment is his safety in the car, he can undo the clip of his car seat and get out. as you can imagine this is very scarey going down country roads and having huge tractors pulling out! i have been looking all night for something but no luck yet, does anyone have any ideas/links? also how do i get him to keep a nappy on? i even bought bob the builder nappy pants but they are off and he just pee'd on Abis bed?
I don't get anything to help with DD3.. she is wearing huggies bedwetter pant things which are extortionate.. but she is 10 this year so the smaller ones are too small.. she also out-pees them almost every night.. in the last 2 days I have washed 1 duvet cover (I don't put them on very often) 3 duvets, 2 bedsheets, 1 blanket and 2 pillows.
DD4 refused to wear a nappy from being 14 months.. I never figured out how to keep one on her!! She didn't wear clothes either
Could you have his car seat in the front? So he has other stuff to look at and you can keep a closer eye on him? (slap his hands off the clasp every 3 seconds) Other than becoming housebound I can only think of this or those clips you can get to go over the clips.. I know you can get them for proper seat belts.. not sure about car seats as I've never had to look.

Caz - Yes! Now J is in a taxi home from school, they can't use the harness like they used on the bus, so they've provided a device that goes on the proper car seat belt. I don't know where they got it from, but I will find out for you on Monday.
And have you tried normal nappies back to front? I know we started having problems with nappies being removed once J was too big for the popper vests. I have also been known to put the nappy on, then put a band of sellotape around.:beer:0 -
Pigpen, you are amazing!
We had tea really early tonight so it feels like it should be midnight!
Has anyone used the sachets of Calpol (rather than a bottle and spoon)? I just read that they're 5ml sachets, but you only give a 2.5ml dose - are they somehow split in half or do you just have to guess where halfway is? Just writing a list of what to get from Sainsburys and thinking sachets might be better for Mum's house.0 -
Swimming trunks over the nappy sometimes work, they did with Chris, but then he has only one useful hand.0
