Hi all, hope everyones well,
not been on in a few days, been quite busy!! thanks AF for Jasmines birthday wishes!
My poor little boy took a tumble at nursery yesterday had a golf ball sized lump on his head so had to keep a eye on him last nite, he seemed ok but he's been suffering with a cough for weeks and ended up being sick last night and I didnt know whether it was cos he was coughing loads or because of the bump, anyway took him docs this morning his head is fine no concussion or anything but he was really wheezy so the doc gave him a inhaler! really hope it helps him as he's been a little out of breath with all the coughing today!there is something wrong with my comp! i have the tabs open at the top and martins pic is on gumtree, mothercare is on yahoo mail, and ebay is on mse??? its making me very confused lol!
that happens on mine sometimes! they all get jumbled up, is odd having martins pic on my facebook tab!!

I finally had enough of coughing today and went my GP - she listened to my chest and stuff but couldn't hear anything so she said give it a few more days as it might clear up - I have prescription just in case.Proud to be dealing with my debts

What's it like gettting your eyes done? I've been thinking about it for a while but too scared - also do you know if there is any long term research on the effects?
Hi
I was scared but it was absolutely fine. I had LASIK (with Intralase) which has a 24-48 hour recovery period. DH had LASEK nearly 6 years ago and had to have over a week off work to recover.
The thought of it is definitely worse than the reality. The actual procedure was over and done in 10 minutes. I do look like I've been slapped in the face and my eyes are pretty bloodshot at the moment. I also can't wear make-up for a week .
Regarding research, I asked a lot of questions at my consultations, although I appreciate there is always going to be an element of them telling me what they thought I wanted to hear. I did ask several questions about the surgeon, how much experience he had, etc.
I also read some articles on the internet. However, there isn't really that much information around. It's only been available about 10 years, so it's still quite early in terms of long-term effects.
Let me know if you have any more questions, as I'm more than happy to answer them0 -

Kindof - could be a growth spurt. You never know with babies! If she is feeding loads she is probably trying to up your supply, so just go with the flow and it will calm down in a day or so. You need to master the art of reading/chatting with us on the lappy/playing playstation games while feeding. It makes the whole thing a lot more bearable
LOL Ive no idea how you do it all lol, he is on formula so its not the milk thing?
We think its too hot in here for him cos it is very hot even though the heating has been off for ages, so OH currently has him upstairs with both bedroom windows open, and he just has his vest on and OH is giving him a bottle of water, cos he just fed so he can't be hungry (I hope)
Awww GISI I would totally be the same as you

I've got the DLA forms to look forward to this week as i've just realised his award runs out in January 2011. I hate, hate, hate them because you have to write/see all the negative bits down in black and white - i'll just have to keep the good bits in my mind.
I did ours yesterday.. our current one expires in August.. I don't think we could afford to live without it TBH!!
Bizarre thing is.. i get it for DS2 and his dyslexia/dyspraxia but not for DD4 with cerebral palsy!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I might be totally wrong, but I don't think bubs as little as Elliot really need water. If he's thirsty then milk should be enough for him, I think. They do have days where they just feed and feed, Henry still does and he's 18 weeks. He definitely did when he was only a couple of weeks old.
My laptop is driving me mad....it won't open my pics from my camera's memory card :DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
