Does anyone else ever feel like they are constantly the one organising treats and nice things for other people, but not getting much back? So far this month i have done foot print cards for both nan's from henry for mother's day, the usual mother's day gifts for my mum and mil, cards, gifts, balloon and cake for my nan and now cards, gifts and a cake for my granny for tomorrow. On sunday my family are all coming to my house, for my birthday tea that i will cook (whilst looking after my 4 month old). Yesterday, on my birthday only my nan phoned me to wish me a happy birthday. Neither of my parents did, none of my cards came on my actual birthday and oh didn't even get me a card from henry. I know i am being a spoilt brat, but i'm just getting a bit fed-up.
As you were, just wanted to vent that!

I actually have nothing to moan about as a very, very lovely friend has just paid for a spa evening for me and her when we're on a Hen weekend at Center Parcs in June :j! I also treated myself to a Radley bag and purse today- well they were 25% off so it would have been rude not to
.
£10 for Toni and Guy is fab, SM. I used to always get my haircut there when I lived in Bristol. We don't have one near me now though, I don't think.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

And someone else should be cooking your birthday tea for you - I'm a bit far away but I'll give you some virtual cake instead: :bdaycake:Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

 It sounds like you are doing far too much. I'm know I'm probably a bit extreme in that I don't do anything for Mother's Day and refuse to be involved with what OH does for his mum but even so I can't understand why you are having to do so much - isn't it just supposed to be doing things for your own mum? At the very least I would expect your OH to contribute to what is done for his own mum. I hope I don't sounds too unreasonable in what I've said as I know I'm a bit biased against Mother's Day.
Ditto. X:DToo many children, too little time!!!0
