Exactly what I was about to ask!
Some babies just like to suck

I have taken a chunk out of finger! Caught it on a piece of plastic and its right on the top knuckle of my middle finger and it hurts to type :( Not gonna stop me though :p

    Pizza on the way!

GISI - I never expect anything these days! I buy cards for OH's family all year but leave christmas presents to him - I don't even send cards to my own family that often!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I might be totally wrong, but I don't think bubs as little as Elliot really need water. If he's thirsty then milk should be enough for him, I think. They do have days where they just feed and feed, Henry still does and he's 18 weeks. He definitely did when he was only a couple of weeks old.

My laptop is driving me mad....it won't open my pics from my camera's memory card

Hmm, the HV said today to give him water if he's just had a Decent feed?

Yeah Beenie he has a dummy, the problem is he keeps hitting it out, waking up then crying.

Touch wood, but OH MAY have just got him to sleep, he is squeaking away which he does so he isnt totally asleep but he is heading that way? I hope, or we are in for a rough night :(

thats crazy pigpen?? we have been told to apply but im not sure? yes he needs more care than any other 2 year old but when we dont actually have a diagnosis i dont understand what i should put down?

I have 4 I 'should' get it for (inc DS2) 1 has cerebral palsy and severe hypermobility.. she can turn her feet backwards.. she had talipes at birth which we sorted with physio.. now they are beyond floppy!.. diagnosed last April.. it isn't bad but it does restrict what she can/can't do. I have another with severe hypermobility, she is at orthopaedics tomorrow and I am expecting another diagnosis of CP.. both of these have to have special boots and insoles.. insoles are free but the boots are £65+ and when they are needing new ones every 3-4 months it is horrendous. DD3 has bladder trouble (irritable and undersized.. whcih reminds me.. we have been waiting since last August to hear from urology.. bet the referral was never made.. I'll chase that on Monday).. she is wetting the bed EVERY night sometimes 3 or 4 times.. she needs nappies and new bedding/mattress every few weeks and I am practically bankrupt with her! Then I have DS2.. he has growth hormone deficiency (which DD4 may also have she is having the tests in May) social development delay.. only 2 years so nothing too bad.. severe dyslexia and dyspraxia.. he behaves like he is about 10 rather than the 14 he really is, but he gets by.. the 2 little ones are unable to walk far and we lug them about in a buggy.. at 5 and 7! They take it in turns.

I 'could' get it for me too.. I have arthritis in my legs and hips which severely restricts my mobility.

I haven't claimed for myself or DD5 but it was refused the the other 2 girls.. apparently it is fine to need a buggy at 7!! Good job she is only tiny and can still fit in the pliko!

    Pigpen That's nuts! *confused smiley*

I've got this really bad feeling we'll get rejected. In reality, i'm sure we can't be but who knows, DLA make some bizarre decisions. The only think thats changed/improved since the last decision is the toileting, but in others ways he's more difficult as he's now as big as me.

Caz We applied for J years before he had a diagnosis (We knew he had LD's & autism, but they don't like to label them too young!). All I remember about the form is lots of repetative questions that you have to answer whilst thinking of the worst day. :(

I always end up sobbing filling in the forms.. it is very hard writing a normal day without having to think of a 'bad' day!!

Mind you the arthritis in my hands was bad on Monday.. and I spent almost an hour trying to fasten GS1's buttons on his shirt.. I was so frustrated.. there were only 5 buttons!

OMG are you superwoman????? can you please pass me some of your patience etc lol! do you get nappies/pads etc free for DD3 as i overheard the nursey talking about this.
my main concern at the moment is his safety in the car, he can undo the clip of his car seat and get out. as you can imagine this is very scarey going down country roads and having huge tractors pulling out! i have been looking all night for something but no luck yet, does anyone have any ideas/links? also how do i get him to keep a nappy on? i even bought bob the builder nappy pants but they are off and he just pee'd on Abis bed?
What's for you won't go past you

choppy - good to see you back! What is your prescription on your eyes?

    Thank you hun :)

Do you mean now or before I had the treatment?

I've just been reading your MFW diary. When (if?) we ever find a new house, we're going to be overpaying if we can.

EvansAngel - I love your wedding dress. It looks really pretty. Lily's dress is gorgeous too. I saw that in Mothercare and was tempted to buy it for Caitlin but she hasn't got any parties to go to!

BM - like your new avvy. You look so young in it. I reckon you could pass for 15!

Oooh, lots of new avvys. All very cute!

Beenie - we have the I Love My Bear range here. I think it's really cute.
