No Tia, no dresses, pain when she's crawling. She had hers tucked into the top of her tights this morning. It was a shared order for my friend and DD as they didn't get an invite.
Too many children, too little time!!!

AF we are having the same thing here, Erin wakes screaming and nothing will settle her like a bottle of milk. she also wants me to carry her everywhere or sit on my knee if dad is around she isnt as bad though? today i strapped her in her pram and put her in front of the TV to get a break from her constant screaming, i hope things get better for you soon as i cant imagine having to work and deal with this too!

feeling a bit fed up today, everything seems to be getting to me and i told Oh last night i felt like i couldnt do this anymore. i feel so tired and its tiring at the nursery as Charlie plays up a lot and i get very stressed. nursery noticed and are going to take him alone on tuesday and they have also got the speech therapist coming. there were a few converstaions about him yesterday and they have been going around my head, i know im glad of the help but its hard when you are being told all the things your child should be doing and their concerns about him, its just making me feel worse :( (sorry i needed to get this out)

oh caz, we can have a hug and a cry together, although you need the hug more than me.

charlie is your baby, as others have said, and please dont feel bad. i underestimated just how pulled into a million different directions as a mum, and you also have so many other factors in there.

    ((((hugs))))
  • Lady bird its from the competition thread, trying to win the full alphabet of prizes for 2010. So if I win a t-shirt I can cross off T or if I win flowers I can cross of F etc. Kinda fun, I love my comps.

thanks Tia am here in tears as im just finding it all too much? his behaviour is getting worse and my house is wrecked because of him. i dont even want to be left alone with him as i cant turn my back for a second.
he doesnt say very much and when filling out a from yest i was asked to put my concerns about his speech down 0 being none 10 being very concerned, i put 7 and she put 9/10! i dont know what will happen until next week once he has been to see ST.
Big hugs honey, I can't help on behaviour but I wanted to say about the speech thing.
Thge baby sign classes we went to were run by a ST she told us how often parents don't notice their children has speech problems because they are so in tune with their kids. It shows you are a good mummy that you understand him and might not see any problems that may be there :) xxx

    hi everyone,

being MIA a bit lately but do have a lurk about at night.

sorry i missed weezl & GISI's birthdays and jasmine's birthay...happy belated birthday from me and LO.

things not so great for me at the minute. although thankfully LO appears to be over the sickness bug, but has taken to screaming on and off during early hours, even when she is in bed with me and the only thing that will comfort her (and that's not for long) is her bottle (with milk).

i am not sure if it's her teeth, it may be. we have six now with the 7th coming through. nothing seems to work though in that regard. tried calpol/teething powders/bonjella. i have bought some abesol today but i'm not holding my breath.

i think it's probably behavourial but i have no idea about how to tackle it. she wont stay in a room on her own either. if she is in the cot, she wont whitter away to her self or play with her toys if i leave the room, she goes into full on screams, getting hysterical if i dont come back. if i let her get to the hysterical stage, then she throws up.

it's really getting to me but i dont know what to do about it. no desire to go to the HV about it, as even though mine are lovely, i think they think we live in a perfect world where if you do A, B, C then said child will respond appropriately. nope, mine has a mind of her own and will do as she pleases (and she's only 1).

work is pants ... beyond pants which isn't helping.

i'm not sleeping much either. going to sleep early hours and then being up on and off with LO until up for work.

sorry for the long self indulgent post, just need to get it out really.

love and hugs to all xxx

OMG Kai is doing the EXACT same thing............I am also putting it down to tantrums...I can't offer any advice other than 'it is a phase' Honestly I remember with ds1 when he was about 14/15 mths old and I had just given up full-time work to go part time evenings and weekends (it was around the time I found I was pregnant with ds2).....I literally had to restrain him as he used to fling himself about and if I tried to comfort him he would be almost head butting me!!

Just try and stay firm and consistant and know that it is not anything that you have done.......

    It is a phase.....It is a phase......It is a phase:)
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
