I'm PEEVED. 1) because obviously they don't read profiles where it says I'm BFing. 2) b/c the last thing I got was a lame-o book, so was hoping for something awesomely useful. 3) because...errrr, I dunno, it's likely totally unsafe like Sami said?!

actually, I'm half-tempted to lie and get it just so I can sell it on for a mega-profit - RRP is £90. Is that totally wrong? :rotfl:

SM - I'll just say there is a BIG difference in getting engaged quickly because it feels right and getting engaged to the first guy that asks because you desperately want to be loved/feel wanted/have a father to your kids etc :)

I believe in marriage and marriage is for life. If I didn't think we were going to be together forever I wouldn't have married him :D

What Sami said. We got engaged and married and had a baby very quickly. And we're happy. It was right for us, and since OH is a little bit older we didn't see the point in waiting. I keep telling him that right around the time I get bored of him he'll drop dead of sheer old age :rotfl: but I secretly hope we manage to keep him alive till he's 115 so I can get to 100 and not have to worry about losing him.
beenie .. marriage is a piece of paper a band of gold and saying you love them ...

And so, so much more. I had a long, long relationship where I wasn't married but deeply loved the person I was with. It just isn't the same thing.

How are you doing now KOAG? You must be so uncomfortable :(

    Happy birthday Fergie!!

Beenie, I'm glad it arrived ok :grouphug:

Aless, take it, test it out and sell it on. [STRIKE]Or look for other reviews online and plagiarise them[/STRIKE].

DKAM I don't have a car and wish I could help.

Susan, my school had class rankings based on exam results and we always knew who was where. I was always 9 or 10 out of 27 and didn't mind because my abysmal mathematical skills were wrenched from the bottom end of the class by languages.

    :rotfl: BM

Can't remember any further back but am laughing like a loon. I am notoriously secretive about my bodily functions and will pretend I don't have to "go" rather than go in public or use someone else's bathroom (just to powder my nose, of course, but I'm afraid someone will think I have to pee or something). Molly was sitting in OH's lap this morning and suddenly started a super loud singing chorus for a few minutes... turns out she was disguising her poopy noises :rotfl: She's clearly mine *loves*

Definitely going to the post office today. I have STUFF to send.

If it is then I'd be totally wrong too as it was my first thought :rotfl:
  • Hola! Back to normal sleepwise for us which is fab. Hopefully H has realised mummy can only cope with getting up once a night.

Happy Birthday Fergie!!! I hope Mummy makes you a yummy, frugal birthday cake.

Aless- prob with that is you would never use it so wouldn't be able to review it. I'm guessing your like me and have never even made up a bottle of formula so would have no experience to compare it with anyway.

Swimming for us this morning, then carpet cleaning man coming. It's a glamourous life!

aless .. i say get and sell it .. there mistake so you make the money ...

ss i really dont have a high opinion of marriage after everything ive seen involving marriage i mean come on me and my sister are the result of married men having an affair .. and my mother and step father got married as my mother didnt want to be alone and both my mother and step father 'needed' a mother/father figure (i have 2 step bros) .. so if this is marriage .. no thanks x
    :)Still searching .....:)

and to my Mummy who is 60 today :D

    Happy Birthday to MFW/MF'sOH :rotfl:

Thanks all it's really nice seeing the birthday messages :)

I said to DH, most women on their babies first birthday are probably turning to their husband and saying, 'just think darling this time last year I was all huge with backache and piles and stretch marks and perpetually grumpy! And look how far we've come!' and yet for me, there is a remarkable sense of deja vu!!!

Kristal and elle too with your new qualification! And anyone more knowledgeable than me:

Can I please ask a couple of boob related questions. (I feel a bit tentative saying this online please be gentle with me!)

I shall try once again to see if there's a way I can get a little of my milk into Kester, even though I feel it may be as fruitless as with Ferg.

To that end I have a couiple of questions. I bought those breast shells, to see if I could build up a tolerance to wearing them in my bra over the next couple of weeks. My thinking was that this might mean I could harvest a bit of milk leakage for Kester more effectively than squeezing out the cotton breast pads.

So I'm thinking of aiming for an hour a day at the moment, and was thinking I'd take 2 paracetamol 20 mins before and also put sudo on my skin for a bit of numbing. How does that sound?

Also, a bit of a fear which you might be able to dispell. When PG with Fergie, I went up from my normal 32D bra size to a 38D, and by day 3 post partum even those were very tight. I am now 37 weeks PG and my bra size is still my pre pregnancy 32D size.

So I'm kinda wondering if my body has somehow learnt not to have a supply because I didn't use it last time. Does that make sense or is it very bad science?!

It's just that I'd hate to invest lots of emotional hope and the pain of gradually wearing these things more and more each day in something that might not be able to be due to loss of supply.

    Does that make any sense?

    xxx
