Can you buy small sachets of formula, I wonder, so I could test the difference without buying an entire tin I can't use? *ponders*
Yes! Or at least you can get free sample sachets. Look on the formula websites and sign up, we got loads of them that we then passed on via the fairiesOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Poop - multiquote not working right for me
I didn't really want to comment on the whole quick engagement/marriage lark but I would say to anybody that getting married quickly does, in effect, mean you marry a stranger. We did it, we have learned to live together and we are now a very happy, strong couple. But we have worked hard to get where we are. I don't regret a second of it.
Interestingly, couples who wait over 6 years to marry are statistically much more likely to divorce (it is higher than 1 in 2). That is why I left my ex when we had been together for 7 years and still weren't marriedremember the feeding spoon thing that you squeezed to get the food out of, guess what my sister bought yesterday:o They were selling them in poundland and she thought it would be great for squeezing more into his mouth as she fed him?? he is so underweight it is very scarey but has his app this month:j
The chav spoon
It takes all sorts! Anything to get some food into him I say
I hate to be the voice of dissent but I think if you can't test/don't want to test something that BB sends you then you should let them know and let them give it to somebody else to test. I check BB for reviews and would like to think that they are all 'real' and honest
No problems in ebaying after genuine testing.
Maybe someone on here would like to test it and you could recommend them for it?

I'm always right dontcha know  I married Matt in part to make him mine forever. I believe in marriage and marriage is for life. If I didn't think we were going to be together forever I wouldn't have married him
Shame it seems like not many people go in to marriage thinking this nowadays though *sigh*Forgive me if I've repeated things other people have said - I haven't had time to fully catch up.
I was thinking about the reins thing and I noticed that a large proportion of the people who object to reins because they think they're for dogs either have or have had dogs. I may be completely way out but I wonder if that is an influencing factor?
I hate the way that all the children in primary schools know who is "top" and who is "bottom" these days.
When I was at school you knew who was at the top and who was at the bottom but not generally what order everyone else was at... I was somewhere in the middle...I wanna sign up to bizzie baby - do they do referrals or should i just do it?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Happy birthday Fergus. How cute would it be if you got a little brother for a birthday present.
And Happy birthday MFD's M. Are you having a party?
I'm going to a RL party tonight. Little Sisters OH's birthday/going away party. He's off to the Galapogos Islands for two months.searching_me wrote: »susan on my married thing with what ive seen from my age group and the people id seen i hadnt seen married work properly (part from my aunt and gradparent) til i met you lot x
I'm a bit bitter, twisted and cynical like you SM.
My Mums had two miserable marriages, she's still in the 2nd one.
Out of 5 sets of my friends who got married at early 20's - all of them are divorced, one of them twice.
I've been bridesmaid three times, two of them are divorced now, the third still married but miserable.
And two couples I know lived together for 6 years first, then got married and divorced within a year. *confused smiley*
However, when we do get married I know it will be forever. I was with the ex for 11 years and he spoke about marriage tons of times, but I always had this feeling that it wouldn't work. I don't have that feeling now with OH.
On a brighter note, I have and Aunt & Uncle who've been married for 30ish years and are still blissfully happy (maybe because they don't have children :rotfl:). And MIL & FIL got married at 17/18, and have been married for 30 years and are still happy together.
And . I've just been told off by a snooty police lady for parking outside my house.
We're a little row of 4 houses. Outside there is the house gates, then a normal width pavement, then a stretch of grass, then another normal width pavement, then a section of tarmaced pavement where we all park.
When I moved I parked on the road when I got my wing mirror knocked off twice by buses. Its a narrow road that has big buses going up and down. When I reported it to the police, they suggested I park on the tarmac bit as it was ok as long as I wasn't blocking the pavement for pedestrians. Now, 6 years later, i've been told off. *confused smiley*
BTW, good morning everyone.:beer:0 -
Happy Birthday to MFW/MF'sOH :rotfl:
Thanks all it's really nice seeing the birthday messages
I said to DH, most women on their babies first birthday are probably turning to their husband and saying, 'just think darling this time last year I was all huge with backache and piles and stretch marks and perpetually grumpy! And look how far we've come!' and yet for me, there is a remarkable sense of deja vu!!!
Kristal and elle too with your new qualification! And anyone more knowledgeable than me:
Can I please ask a couple of boob related questions. (I feel a bit tentative saying this online please be gentle with me!)
I shall try once again to see if there's a way I can get a little of my milk into Kester, even though I feel it may be as fruitless as with Ferg.
To that end I have a couiple of questions. I bought those breast shells, to see if I could build up a tolerance to wearing them in my bra over the next couple of weeks. My thinking was that this might mean I could harvest a bit of milk leakage for Kester more effectively than squeezing out the cotton breast pads.
So I'm thinking of aiming for an hour a day at the moment, and was thinking I'd take 2 paracetamol 20 mins before and also put sudo on my skin for a bit of numbing. How does that sound?
Also, a bit of a fear which you might be able to dispell. When PG with Fergie, I went up from my normal 32D bra size to a 38D, and by day 3 post partum even those were very tight. I am now 37 weeks PG and my bra size is still my pre pregnancy 32D size.
So I'm kinda wondering if my body has somehow learnt not to have a supply because I didn't use it last time. Does that make sense or is it very bad science?!
It's just that I'd hate to invest lots of emotional hope and the pain of gradually wearing these things more and more each day in something that might not be able to be due to loss of supply.
Does that make any sense?
xxx
I can't comment on your breastshell plan because I couldn't begin to imagine how it feels for you.... But they are known to stimulate milk production so it's definitely worth a try...
Edit: Forgot to say, the first bit of your post really made me laugh!! And I hope Fergie has a brilliant first birthdayA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Did you see my post above? It happens a lot!
In my own experience, if my ex was not ready to commit to me after 7 years then there was something amiss in our relationship. We lived together for over 6 years and owned a house together for 3 years. It took a lot of courage to end a relationship on a hunch that there was something missing but I was right and it is the best thing I ever did.
All police officers are snooty
I am missing my work Winter Ball to go and surprise my mummyshe thinks we are off to the ball, we decided that she deserved a surprise. Not a party as such but we are taking the boys to my brothers and having a chinese. We have then booked a cheapy hotel room so we can see mum tomorrow too!

MFD Your post appeared as I was typing my mammoth one.
I'm worried now, OH & I have just passed the 6 year mark.
And yes, they are all snooty! I keep asking OH when during his training, he goes for the operation to remove his personality. :rotfl::beer:0 -
Morning everyone, hope everyones ok?
Happy birthday fergie!!!!
weezl with both my pregnancies my boobs didnt really change at all, i didnt get any milk or leaking until a few days after birth,
dkam, ive just recently got a scenic and its high up like a picasso, im only 5ft as well, but ive got used to being high up now and i like it!! we were looking at picassos first as well but we ended up seeing a scenic that we loved!
the bottle thing from bb, is it that one that puts the hot water in? to be honest i dont think its unsafe as im sure manufacturers would have to pass certain safety test before going on sale? i personally let the water cool a bit before adding powder anyway, id have quite liked it when jasmine was small, but £90!!! i wouldnt want it that much lol, but i think if you tell bb you are bf and therefore no use they will prob send you something soon as recently after saying i couldnt test something they sent a £90 smart trike the next month!!
i had more to say but forgot!! better go and get dressed anyway!0
