Krystal is the brother in question the ice dancer?Presthaven Sands is actually a nice park, quite modern and clean - it's just the people there that bring it down.
And in answer to your question about my friend and the dog yesterday, she's getting it from Dogs for the Disabled... No idea how she got on the scheme but I can ask her Monday if you like?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Just had the strangest convo ever with my Area Manager. He has serious problems saying what he means like!
Still have no idea whats happening. He said I'm not getting a 30hr contract but he knows I won't come back to do 48hr. He said he wants me back as an Assistant Manager but its a salaried position, and hes telling me 30hr contract doesn't exsist. Am most confuzzled.
Wants me to put in writing how many hrs I want to work and my flexibility etc and he'll 'go from there'. Go where from there?!? Invent a new special hourly rate of Assistant Manager just for little old me?! Doubt it!0 -

I knew it was Presthaven you were on about... Hubby has fond memories of it from childhood... Wonder if his family was one of those scouser types you were on about lol...

I have fond memories from childhood - you mustn't notice the rough!!! chavs when you're little. :rotfl:
I already have one dog - I don't want another. But 'they' do say that dogs are good for autistic people. And J does have a special bond with our dog. The dog is much more J's friend than any of the rest of us.
Tia How dreadful! We only live about an hour away from there and I wouldn't know where the nearest hospital was either.
CSH Your conversation with the AM must have really cleared things up for you. :rotfl::beer:0 -
Well my friends little boy doesn't know that... When they bought the dog round to introduce them he walked up to it and said "nice cat" lol!!
It should really make a difference to him, give him a bit more freedom to walk rather than be in the buggy more than anything...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... can anyone tell me how much there 7/8 month olds eat??
DD has always stayed on the line in her red book but she just doesnt seem to eat that much, she'll have lumps finger foods etc but just doesnt eat much in quantity.
normally her day is like this
8am wake up - 1 weetabix (using 2 oz of bottle), remainin g 5oz of bottle
12 oclock she had a few spoon fulls of scrambled egg and a bit of rice pudding after
3.30pm she has a 7oz bottle
4.30pm she had a few more spoonfulls of a meal, and then a biscotti biscuit, but she wasnt even interested in that really.
7.30pm 7oz bottle
it just doesnt seem a lot really.0 -
I have just seen about the baby sling recall! I am always worried as H sometimes looks squashed and i have to jiggle him into the right position. Then other times he looks fine and i get it right first go, we have only used it a couple of times. I have an Amy coe peanut shell type is this ok do you think?
We went to presthaven sands a year ago and boy was it a shock sorry if any one really likes it there. The place was nice enough but like someone said the people do bring it down. I am far from being a snob but it was really rough. We ate one night at the restaurant on site our table didn't have a number on it so the waiter wrote on the reciept/ticket NO F*****g table number and gave us a copy. We must have had an old caravan, we were freezing and noisey people kept us awake all night. Someone even said that it was like being in an army camp being on hoilday there. I want to go to haven again as not many hotels take under 5 and if they do they charge quite a bit but it has put hubby right off. This is my signature!0 -
Natalie, DD2 is just coming up to 10months old... It's only been in the last week or two she's been bothered about eating... And even now some days she's not really bothered... If she she was hungry she would let you know...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Elasti, I don't know exactly what type of sling that one is but by the looks of it you can do different carries in it? It's the one where baby lies along the bottom of it that is dangerous... Sami posted a link a few days ago about why they're dangerous, I'll try and find it for you...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Someone give me a kick up the bum or some energy pleeeeeeease.
Supposed to be going to see Avatar tonight (don't want too, probably my reluctance to go and get ready) was SUPPOSED to go for sushi but I'm skipping that, my stomach looks pregnant  Not even kidding! If I breathe out I look like im ready to pop. Funny thing is though my stomach feels painful, like if I poke it? Kinda like someone has punched me in the stomach? Could this be causing this insane bloating? God I feel fat.....
Still will nosh on a pick a mix though. You just gotta!0
