It is a catch 22 thing really do I give up on BF and concentrate on getting well and being at my best for Anya or risk staying ill for longer and struggling on?
I'm so lucky my OH is really suportive but hes taking more and more on and I feel I'm missing out on her first days being so tired and poorly. All I do is feed her really.

That's all I did really for the first week when OH was home. (And I hadn't had a CS.) Apart from one nappy in hospital overnight when he wasn't there, I didn't even change a nappy until he went back to work. It's up to you what you decide to do but don't feel bad that all you are doing is feeding.

:eek: Alice was born just after Easter and was nearly one when her first Easter came round so I made OH tell his parents ages beforehand that we didn't want Alice to have chocolate.

Even if you stop breastfeeding now and never give another BF, the milk she has already had is beneficial and you have given her the best start in life. Giving formula doesn't cancel out the benefits of the breastmilk already given.

Mine is coming from 3 today but comes via courier - had a text to say it would be here between 10.53 & 11.53! random. Knew it would be around 11am cos thats what time we always get deliveries round here.

I will speak to mw about it on Friday. They didn't discharge me from their care on day 10 saying i had to see my original mw.

When do lo's use a spoon/fork for the intended purpose?
V likes to use her spoon as a drumstick, and eat her cereal/dinner with her hands??

V is off to MIL's today and i've got a tidy house. I'm not sure what to do with myself.
