I am dreading remortgaging - our fixed rate ends in June. Apparently as I'm on mat leave they will only take into account my SMP and not my full wage which is 4 times my SMP and also OH is now earning £7k less than when we took mortgage out.
might have to sell up & rent again - which might not be a bad thing as I reckon we'd get a decent price for this place plus renting would be cheaper which would be better if OH ends up doing a GTP course!
With ours whenever we've ended a product but stayed with the same lender they haven't worried about collecting income details cos they've got our track record of good payments IYSWIM?
It's with the one that mm works for so she'll know if that's standard practice!
Is it a lender whose other rates are any good?
what gtp is oh gonna do?

Well done Beenie. I know I'm just a figment of the internet, but I'm so proud of you for taking such a hard step.
Just a thought, but if you take pictures now you won't have to worry about evidence later xxx
