Put the baby down and get out of the hospital for a bit. It seems counter productive, but she needs a break from the stress. Is there plenty of EBM in the fridge/freezer so she can be cup fed? Even just a few hours, go to McDonalds or something. She needs to just step back form the whole situation for a time.

She also has to think of the idea that it may an extra day or so till she gets the 2 in a row too, so be prepared for that. It's horrible to see that goal but to keep missing it by a mg, but she will get there eventually. I wouldn't tell her that though, just be prepared for it.

I would normally have honey & lemon but for obvious reasons cant give this to J

Pop a pillow under his mattress (or a folded towel), put a wet towel over the radiator and crack open the window.

Is he waking when coughing?

She's uptight because she thinks she won't be able to go home if she doesn't get enough milk in her so the pressure to feed really well is on. She'll be ok!X :A

Glam, the Dr gave Caitlyn simple linctus when she had an awful throat ripping cough, but it didn't really make much difference, it was just stressfull getting it into her in the first place... I would put a bowl of water on the radiator to moisten the air but I don't think there's a fat lot you can do for them...

They do wipe clean ones too...not sure if they would be useful or a bit stiff?

Scruff, only found out today.

It's my neices 13th birthday. Usually she has a girly party, so we are not invited having 2 boys. But this year they are having a big party in the church hall and have arranged a lot of stuff for the younger kids (between our family and SIL family there are lots of kids). So we have to go. Would be too much for the kids to go upto Edinburgh and then come back down to a party.
