Ooops - forgot to say thank you for all of the Birthday wishes :o Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Hey you! Is your mom here? Must be good to see her! I have about 5 saved drafts of texts to you on my phone because I keep starting to text then getting distracted :o sorry!

For £7 deffo worth a pop! Benjamin likes being sat at the table like a big boy so combined with a multitude of things to distract him (menus, phones, keys, moisturiser, baby wipes etc etc etc) this can be better than a normal highchair.

Edit - scruffy, I can't find the jojo maman bebe one? But I guess it is very similar.

yeah mum and dad arrived on thursday. LO recognised them which was lovely to see. talk about spoiling her. i wont start to reel off what they have bought her since being here.

i might look into the seat thingy as LO was in the most uncomfortable highchair the other night and dinner when we were out and she was none to pleased combined with being tired, was a recipe for disaster really.

hope you had a lovely day today for mother's day and benjamin's birthday. can't believe where i was this time last year to now x

Ok, tried another catch up so here goes:

Jillie – have a great trip home! And enjoy St Patrick’s Day when it comes – I am sure it will be a great celebration in your town.

Birthday wishes to Benjamin and Dora!! Hope you both had a lovely day.

Huge hurrahs for Poppie getting home soon!

Scruffy – I have no doubt that you are a blond bimbo under the dark hair dye!! Ha ha ;) x

SM – good luck for tomorrow. I hope your first day passes quickly.

Beenie – I hope you are ok sweetie. I seriously hope that was the first and last time he has hit you.

Tia – That was a very thoughtful thing to do. You’re a big softie really aren’t you?! Ha ha. It’s a shame you can’t make the Scottish meet. x

She's asked but no-one yet, I think I helped a bit. At least she stopped crying. The pressure of it all coming down to how much weight she puts on is making her panic. I told her to wait until they weigh her in the morning and plan B could be to bottle feed expressed milk to get her home. She calmed down when she realised that she could have a plan B. X

  • Tara - just a thought but it could be that the thought of struggling to feed Poppie at home is making her tense and making it more difficult to feed her IYSWIM.

Try to calm her as much as possible and remind her that at home both she and Poppie will be much calmer and could relax and take their time over feeding (go to bed and dim the lights etc).

I can't imagine the circumstances but it is daunting taking any baby home and wondering how you will cope - the fear of having nobody there (even somebody as inept as they were in Bristol) could be really worrying???

Or I could be talking pap!!
