But you almost got up to your elbow, right? :D:rotfl:

I'm about to open an email about my BIL's wedding. Something tells me it is going to be elaborate and uncomfortable - the wedding's in Bermuda and their wedding invitation came in a box with a dead starfish in. I'm just waiting for the dress code ... will I be expected to cart an evening dress and pearls across the Atlantic?

Do you ever get the feeling that you really fancy something nice to eat,
but cant find anything nice in the house ???

love the picture Sami, saw it on FB but don't think I've friended Fritha yet.

Can I ask you more experienced mummys... is it just an old wives tale that bottom teeth come through first? Got the dribble, pink cheeks, biting everything, and yesterday had the inconsoleable screaming. Just want to know what I'm keeping an eye out for really. Seems more white at the top but still not enough to know if it is pressure making it white or teeth starting to come down? even less showing at bottom, hope she won't be suffering with them for too long.

    Thanks in advance xx

Bottom two teeth usually appear first, then top two shortly after. I think they then sort of work round in pairs to the back teeth...of course all babies are different so it is not a rule:)

    Ooo, hes getting big eh?!?

Forgive me, I'm totally ignorant about slings but from that photo it looks like there is nothing round his back to stop him throwing himself backwards. Is that right?
I'm not sure if he's generally big(deffo not compared to Jayden :p) but he's certainly growing :D
its right that he could fling himself backwards in that tie, I was trying out a tie that would be suitable for him in the summer when he'll be older, you can tie it like this http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4255576&l=e941781048&id=541141775 to keep him more secure

    Morning everyone,

Lovely sling Sami, Ed's got so big!

    SS- a dead starfish?! :rotfl:

Glam - hope your heads not too sore. I'd feel squiffy after one glass nowadays :)

I've still got the lurgy, Im not burning up anymore but my headache and achey joints won't shift. I've took painkillers but they don't seem to be helping :o

OH got up with Isla and offered to get her dressed, I went to get her clothes out but he said he could do it. My daughter resembles a bash street kid! He's put her in a pastel/ baby pink floaty sleeveless dress on backwards! A short sleeved vest poking out, navy blue cherry print tights and bright pink baseball boots! Once she's finished this feed and Ive taken a picture I'm changing her!

it is most common for the first tooth to be one of the front 4, Chris got one bottom then one top (but not the matching pair :p) I've heard of babies that got their 'fangs' first though.
I find that when the teeth are about to break, the gum is red and swollen but you can usually make out a white line in the middle of the redness, I often have to keep poking in with my finger because the white is so strong in the last few days that it's hard to tell if it's in or out of the gum xx

I meant since the last photo not that hes a highland coo or anything lol

Can you basically just do anything with a length of fabric? Is that the 'jist' of it??

I've got just a baby carrier for K but I've not be able to use it yet cos he freaks out if the wind goes in his face and I live in the windiest town ever!Hoping to get some use out of it in the spring/summer

Right well seeing as DH is up now (was at work til 4am) I am going back to bed! A was on for some sort of record number of feeds through the night so I am cream crackered. I have also realised tht I will get next to no sleep at all this week as we are going to stay with MIL in Scotland, but A will be in the same room as us, and will keep me awake :( Oh well. At least I'll be bale to nap more in the day as I won;t be as busy.

See you all in a bit x
