Right well seeing as DH is up now (was at work til 4am) I am going back to bed! A was on for some sort of record number of feeds through the night so I am cream crackered. I have also realised tht I will get next to no sleep at all this week as we are going to stay with MIL in Scotland, but A will be in the same room as us, and will keep me awake :( Oh well. At least I'll be bale to nap more in the day as I won;t be as busy.

See you all in a bit x

    Wheres MIL's house?

I meant since the last photo not that hes a highland coo or anything lol

Can you basically just do anything with a length of fabric? Is that the 'jist' of it??

I've got just a baby carrier for K but I've not be able to use it yet cos he freaks out if the wind goes in his face and I live in the windiest town ever!Hoping to get some use out of it in the spring/summer
yeah thats it with a wrap sling really, just take one 5m-ish length of fabric and wrap it around you n baby, tie a knot and off you go!

Ed loves the wind in his face, thinks its hilarious  but when he was younger he'd hold his breath so if it was a windy day I would worry he wasn't breathing enough :o:p

Is everyone else as excited as me about F1 being back? :j

    :rotfl:at the eclectic sounding outfit!

They were my exact words to him!

CSH - something lovely like an Ocah would be great for windy cold locations and babywearing. Their not cheap but come highly recomended. They come up for sale on natural mamas quite often too. http://ocah.typepad.com/photos/ocah_baby_wearing_gallery/index.html

And if we're sharing sling pics can I add one of mine please? (Well I am anyway :p)

I think Rhys is on a mega eating fest! Apparently he had an extra 120ml of milk in the night, then 110ml with me and has just practically inhaled a weetabix with peach bits, and now he's attempting my crumpets too..

Forgive me, I'm totally ignorant about slings but from that photo it looks like there is nothing round his back to stop him throwing himself backwards. Is that right?

That's true but Ed is pretty big now and not entirely likely to do that. So it's not too much of a problem! (In theory, but if he flings himself out of it now I take no responsibility!) You can pull the crosses higher up his back though to stop it doing that (I missed that in my adjusting spree!) Essentially Sami if you wanted to do that both edges of the cross should be pulled down to his knees, then it should come higher up :-)

  • Lovely pic Boogellyboo! I'll try and get one of H in the ring sling later.

We just had a mega poop-plosion! H has gone from being a 4-5 times a day pooper to once a day-ish. Is that normal at about 4 months? Still exclusively BF and no particular change in my diet.

ooh Fritha has put photos up on fb, non of 3 n V though, were you missed?

No I missed 3 and V, (sorry 3) I realised, when I got home and kicked myself, I missed another lady too, so you have to come to the next one 3 so I can snap you!

That's not all the pictures though, I missed out snotty noses and silly faces! If anyone wants to see Sami's outtakes (she kept talking as I pressed the button!) I can offer them for a reasonable fee ;-)
