    agggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my head hurts!

I'm in the doghouse but its actually OH's fault so he will be getting grief when he gets up!

Had our chinese and OH said he'd get the drinks all night - fine. Watching a film and he keeps topping my glass up so it wasn;t long before I was sloshed. Couldn't watch film and to be honest can't remember much after that - got grief at 5am when J woke up that I had spoilt the night and he was staying in bed this morning after being up with Jack in the night (don't believe this).

I went and slept on BIL's bed  with Jack - I put a huge throw on the bed and slept in that! J slept til 9am, came downstairs to find I'd drunk a bottle & a half of wine! Little sod - no wonder I was in that state he normally tells me how much I have left so now I have no wine or next week

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr off to catch up :)

Elle, OH is here and has a question for you...

as you deal with HR have you ever come across a problem with the appearance and hygiene of an employee, and how do you deal with it? Ta muchy! :D

    Cheeky sod ain't he? :o

I used to desk share with a minger in work. We did complain to the team leader but she was reluctant to say anything. Other people (not me :o), used to leave cans of lynx and bottles of showergel on his desk for him, and I used to keep a pack of flash wipes in my drawer to clean the desk/phone before I stared work. Team leader eventually had a quiet work - not sure if it worked, I left. :D

Hope the NE ladies have a lovely meeting. Is anyone taking a camera?

Tia, caz, CSH all scottish contingent... I'm just about to upload a biscuit recipe for my vegan meal planner that's very like a shortbread but contains cornmeal.

Would it be ok to call it a shortbread or would there be a scottish outcry about the cornmeal?!
what about calling it shortcornbread? :p

dead starfish made me smile, I though wouldn't it be weird if it was a live one lol

    Glam - naughty oh!

We didn't get back from visiting BIL until 9pm and were shattered so didn't bother putting a film on, like we had planned.

DH has just asked what I would like to do for mother's day, he suggested going out to the Hungry Horse pub for a meal, but I declined as we need the cam belt on the car doing so I would rather put the money to that. I suggested maybe go out somewhere free/cheap in the day and then getting a take-away later....not sure where to go in the day though!!

    Morning all..

*hugs* for the tired and anyone else who wants them :(

Rhys woke up in the night, around 5ish, but OH got up. Still waiting for OH (and Rhys!) to wake up again for him to tell me what it was all about, but I notice the bottle I left in the fridge has gone so maybe he was just hungry. I heard him bawling, went to his room to find he wasn't in his cot, then heard the kettle on so assumed Rhys and OH were in the living room and left them too it! :rotfl: :o He did wake up in the night night before last too, but just put that down to him definitely being hungry because he missed his last bottle

Ah, think Rhys is awake now - can hear his cot toy rattling :)

Lots of sorting and tidying to get done this weekend. Really want to get some pictures back up on the wall and some of the junk properly out the door - will have to have a FreeCycle listing spree, I think

Hope everyone has a good day (and a nap!) xxx

    Morning :)

Well don't think DH gets it! Last night he said I'd have to stack shelves at night time or something while he's home to have C. I told him the problem isn't the CM, it's being away from me - full stop! I then reminded him what would he do when he was on call!

Hugs to you ladies who aren't getting much sleep xx Is it possible for you to nap in the daytime? When C was born I had almost 3 full nights without sleep, the night I was in labour, the first night she was born as she wouldn't sleep, then the first night at home. I know how you feel.

It's crazy how you cope though isn't it?
I think at the beginning I didn't sleep properly for about 4 days (just short 20min naps). I was up from 8am on the Wednesday morning, went into labour as I went to bed, had J at 8am on the Thursday, didn't sleep all that day or night, went home Friday and he was up all Friday night then got readmitted on the Saturday and I can't sleep in hospital. Think it was the Sunday night before I had any longer than an hours sleep!

Actually MFD said ;):rotfl: and I said sssshhhh its a secret :rotfl:

Its nothing, we were talking and then decided to remove the posts as it wasnt right for the thread

Were you being dirty again? ;)

Mel - I had to wake him up cos he'd moved the house keys and the postie was knocking! Apparently J was up from midnight til 2.30am :o

    Morning everyone.

Well 5.30am was wakey time in Alex's world. Gave up at 7am attempting to get him back to sleep. Was ironing at 7.15am whist watching Confessions of a Shopaholic.

And now Alex has decided to go to sleep, 10 minutes before we have to go to swimming lesson with Joe.

But at least we get to go in the shiney new courtesy car, will be so gutted when I have to give it back. And more gutted when I have to hand over th e £250 exccess on my inusrance. Must search out more stuff to ebay today, to assist in that little financial dilemma.

Hope everyone has a good day, probbaly not get to read back until work on Monday. So hugs, claps and every kind of vibe that are needed.

    morning!!

had a nice sleep last night. toddled of to bed at 10pm. and woke at 5am with K crying a little. DH said he'd woke at 2am and he'd give him a bottle. i must have been so asleep i never heard him but DH was still on the 'puter so as soon as he heard him he was up the stairs so not to wake me.

beccles- i have to agree with SS, your DH needs a stern talking to....i've told DH i dont mind at the moment if he has a lie-in on his day off but when i go back to work he'll have to be up with me to look after Kian. he's pretty good most of the time though.

    and bloody work!!!!
cant offer me mon-fri hours. so if i want to work in the manchester city branch it will have to be 2 days during the week and alternate sat/sundays. have spoke to MIL and they will have Kian on the Sat although DH should be able to take the odd sat off if need be. its not perfect but i'm realistic and know that if i looked at a more local shop it would more than likely be every sat!!
have to let the manager know what i'm doing when we get back from ireland.
still going to put K in nursery during the week. will say then to mgr in shop that i can work whatever 2 days during the week but they must be the same 2 days all the time.
i was fuming at first cos my manager at trafford had led me to believe that i would have no problems in working mon-fri hours. but it appears that she neglected to say that this is what i wanted. and its obvious that she doesnt want me to work there otherwise she would have tried to give me those hours!!
    rant over!!!!

Aimee woke me at 2:30 to tell me she couldn't sleep... Which was annoying because Caitlyn had a wake up at 1 but a sip of water and a cuddle was all that was needed and she slept until 6:30... I could have had a good block of unbroken sleep! Aimee was up at 6 but I made her get in bed with us until Caitlyn woke up, then let her open her presents :D

Hubby too them to Morrisons to get mothers day lunch while I assembled and stuck stickers on many sylvanian things.... Just lying in bed for a minute but I should really be up hoovering and making ready for guests...

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
