Right - how the eff can Facebook be suggesting the PW as one of my friends? We don't have any friends in common, I have never emailed her so don't have her email in my address book and we might have the same surname but !!!!!! so do millions of other people!!! It is definitely her, I have checked her friends out and they are all her family.

    I don't understand???

Edit - my hubby is away tonight too but I am used to it now (and used to going away myself). It gets easier xxx

This has happened to me, most recently with the person who designed and made my wedding dress....from this I can only deduce that FB knows when someone has tagged you in a photo, even if it's not an active tag to your FB, IYSWIM. I don't think I've explained that very well!
Question re slings - is it best to get one ASAP if I'm going to get one or is Alfie likely to be happy starting using one at any stage?

I personally found my sling a godsend when Henry was little. It's still great, but less of a godsend since he is also happy in his pushchair now. What kind are you thinking of?

    Yeah for walking Mel! XXX

So is mine the only OH who constantly moans about not doing stuff on his own enough. That all his friends (apparently) who have kids get time away. Hobbies every week and days out with their friends, skiing holidays. He used to in the beginning of our relationship but I found it really unfair.
Too many children, too little time!!!

My DH said yesterday that he had a few friend suggestions for people he met working in Canada years ago. Like you, they have no mutual friends, and he did not have their e-mail addresses. The only thing he could think of was that they had his e-mail address and FB has a new way of suggesting friends that way. Could that be possible?

SJ, personally I'd get one now because I feel like they're so darn useful - especially when they're young and want to be held all the time.

    Randomly,

Until a few weeks ago everytime MFD said 'Practice Wife' I thought she worked in a GP surgery and Practice Wife was something like Practice Nurse, so I was imagining a rather annoying secretary of some sort...

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Nope - hubby had to have a little practice at being a husband before he was ready for the real thing ;) It means he is a little better at it this time around *crosses fingers*
He is doing alright so far.

I can't see that my husbands ex-wife would be putting pictures of me on her FB???
I do have DSS's email address and email him so I guess she could have put my email in her address book, just in case?

    It's just freaky!!

I have also just had a friend request from a girl 3 years older than me who I used to play in a brass band with when I was a kid (3 years is a lot when you are 9!!) She left my school when I was about 12 and I don't think I have seen her since I was about 14!!

    Evening Everyone

    Just catching up

    Kindof - Labour vibes
Tara - Extra Strong Get Strong Vibes for Poppie
SM - hugs I don't like being home alone either.

Jillie - They showed Katie to me then whipped her off to do the checks and clean her up a bit as she was pooping everywhere! DH went with her then they brought her to me and laid her on my chest where she latched onto my cheek! She stayed there until it was time for me to move off the operating table onto a bed when the anthesatist (SP) got a cuddle!

:( you didn't get the chance but I didn't hold her for ages after that initial cuddle as I had the shakes and was worried about dropping her.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
