hi ladies and gents, i am exhausted had charlie at his monkey playgroup and then helped my sister move house! her new neighbours are a nightmare! the parents stood outside watching everything we were putting into the house whilst letting their kids run riot and not even saying anything when they were trying to get in the cars or touching my sisters things! they insisted on standing at the front door when we were trying to put things in and even when my dad bluntly told them to 'f**k off' they still insisted on getting in the way! Im so glad it isnt me living there as i dont think i could cope!!! so im off to lie in the bath and fall asleep!!

SM hope your not too lonely and you are his mum not her but Oh might be playing the sympathy card to get a little help!

OBEM i watched this last night and had tears streaming down my face! i cant understand why the baby girl wasnt given straight to her mum? why do they insist on wrapping them up? what about skin to skin? with all but Abi(meconium) i had the baby handed straight to me no interfering, no cord cut or cleaning just straight into my arms and onto my chest.

cant stay awake any longer so will catch up tom xxx

Katie has been a bit contrary tonight - tired after her day with the Childminder.

Didn't want her dessert (I just ignored her) then after about 5 minutes started eating it!

Then it took about an hour and tears to get her to go to sleep - DH is home and he's a soft touch and will sit with her until she falls asleep but he wanted to watch the football so she wasn't impressed by mummy settling her.

SM - I feel like I've lost a limb if I'm at home and Katie isn't.

    EA & Mel - Congratulations.

I've had no weird FB suggestions.

for a littley in a mei tai, the legs get folded up like a frog until they are big enough to straddle you and come out the side. they're very comfy and Finn loves his! :T (SJ, I had a sling like the BaBa and really didn't get on with it...I think you'd like something like a mei tai or wrap sling better - even a Baby Bjorn!)

I have a mei tai SJ - he would be upright in that - can't remember how you put their little legs though, Caitlyn's obv. come out the sides now!

Thanks. I'm just looking at a few sites selling mei tais now - quite a price range. They look good though.

Assuming nobody in my apartment is bizarrely electrocuted following an accident involving hot tea and live wires overnight, I'll see you all in the morning. I'm too angry to be social right now.

Not only does the Iceland if I want it enough all my responsibilities can be whisked into something that allows me to do what I want continue, he has just announced that after doing something last night that his recent hospital stay explicitly forbids, tonight he has chest pains. But, oh no, he isn't sure at all that they're related, ohhh no. And then I called him out on being stupid and he started telling me how clearly I wanted him to lie to me in future because he was doing me some sort of favour in telling me the truth but I'm making him feel bad about it.... gah.

    Rant over. As you were.

Not had chance to catch up properly - mega busy doing reports and stuff. Jack has got a little cough but only when he's sleeping!

He was soooooooooooooooooooo good when I was doing my audits today so was grateful for that! Just finished my paperwork so need to go and do kitchen stuff now.

Should make about £100 this week after tax and the boring stuff!!

Had to quote Tia as I saw this and :rotfl:as I remember the original discussion! IIRC Tia got DH to check the fuel tank on the car for some reason :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi Tara!

Folks, Zombie Attack is a very real threat. I've said it before and you all ridiculed me, but Thou Shall Rue The Day That Thouest Ridiculest uhm Meist!

(I secretly think that one day we will all end up as flesh eating zombies just like in the films :p)

I see Poppie is in need of some vibes so sending some out :)

SJ - there is a sling meet in Warrington on Friday if you can make it. :)
Text me if you want any details. I'll have my Joey but Frith has a whole array of slings. I think I had Jack in the Joey from quite early on - around 7-8 weeks.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

    Yeah for walking Mel! XXX

So is mine the only OH who constantly moans about not doing stuff on his own enough. That all his friends (apparently) who have kids get time away. Hobbies every week and days out with their friends, skiing holidays. He used to in the beginning of our relationship but I found it really unfair.

Then he offers to 'babysit' while you go out....

I'm feeling rather disgruntled right now.
