STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!0 -
When I was pregnant with Amber I had a horrible dream about giant transformer robots all fighting and the monster from cloverfield was there too. We were holed up in a cafe I used to work in yeeeeaaaaaaarrrssss ago, upstairs in the store room. That cafe has been closed for, oh, 12 years! I had to try and keep the boys quiet so we could escape because the fight was right there outside and teh building was going to be destroyed. We had to sneak out with DS1 running and me carrying DS2. We didn't make it0

downloads eh sm... You wouldn't catch me doing that... I leave it all to Dave
Aww MM, is anyone close enough to cheer you up while you're over?
And well done to Kai Mel!
Caitlyn has an extra couple of teeth... Mfd asked me how many she had on Sunday and after she left we had a quick check and she'd cut the other top one... Then today I saw she's cut another on the top next to the one she's had a couple of weeks... That's 5:D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Aww bless him. I remember when you posted that! I love the colours too. I was just looking at a greenish one. I think I am free on Friday, don't want to promise anything though as hate to be (always) cancelling stuff.
Aless I have been leant a baby bjorn for my trip up to Scotland next week so i will see how i get on with that too. Have to say though that the mei tais look loads nicer.0 -
I'm just watching my totally legal download of OBEM, and I can't believe they're saying this 23 year old is a "young mum" as though she's some 14 year old!
...
EDIT  just realised SM was only just 24 not 23
MASSIVE vibes for Poppie's blood and lungs xxx
I'm very sad that some of you weren't the first to hold your babies
I specified in both my birth plans that I wanted baby to be straight on to my chest, I was actually the first to even touch Edgar, I picked him up myself (and got covered in birth goo and mec - yum :rotfl:the monkey pooped on the way out) If I ever need a c/s I want to be topless and baby put straight onto my chest, no screen in the way. I'd want that even if they need to do some resus (unless baby was REALLY critical) not sure how likely it would be that an OB would agree to that but it's what I'd fight for.
btw things are looking very good for baby #3:j I'd say OH is currently at 80% agreeable and I've still got 2yrs-ish until I'd like us to ttc :T

SJ, I agree but some people are scared of "hippyish" stuff that isn't sold in chain stores, so I guess Baby Bjorn is like the mass-market version of the traditional mei tai
. But traditional ones are much more colorful!

Hi MM. XXX
OH went skiing a few times in the first 3 years, he still now goes off for weekends to stay with friends and goes out bit but not regular. He says it's just me but when we were out on Saturday an old mate of his was telling him he hadn't been out much for years. And he certainly never got to go away, made no flippen difference though.
OH goes away a lot but he's only gone out with the lads from work 2 or 3 nights in a year, that's all we are 'allowed' we agree 4 nights out per year is enough, we usually have 1 together and he has works dos for the others, mine are concerts/theatre with my sis/mum (we don't count family meals/weddings etc in this though)0 -
Aless, I think for me, it's a fear of not tying them right. The store bought ones have clips, traditional ones don't.0
