They just sort of drift out of it when they are around 8-10-ish. Although Joshua was standing on the landing talking to me stark naked a couple of days ago and he's 13 and errrm turning manlyWell you did ask ;-) Anyway around your nipple you've got little bumpy bits, they're named after a bloke whose name I always forget. They leach an antibacterial fluid when the baby starts sucking, it effectively sterilises your nipple.
I have a confession to makeMy neighbour is anti-breastfeeding and was saying I was mad for breastfeeding blah blah blah. She asked how do I know my breasts are sterile, so I told her I had a special tank that I had to fill up with sterilising fluid and I had to lean over and dangle my boobs in the tank for a few minutes before a feed.
She then came back full of thunder because she'd told her Mam and her Mam laughed at her for believing me:rotfl:
That Facebook thing is still lingering on. Another girl in the class, not connected to the original incident, has posted that James and his friend are bullying the girl who made the original allegations :mad:Here I go again on my own....0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: genius
:mad: at some obnoxious little brat getting herself involved. I'd tell James to ignore it all and it'll all be over in a few months.You are so lucky. Can Kezia and I come with you, she is very good for cuddles and I don't think I snore:T (and would stretch to a cuddle or two too, since it's you)
And back on the expressing front, I just got another .5 of an oz. Woohoo. Think I'm getting the hang of it now.

I talk in my sleep. A lot. It's hard to know what the best thing is to do, on the one hand it'll be expensive to change everything and we don't know if the insurance will cover all of us changing flights - but on the other hand I'd have to leave on the Thursday and not get to Bermuda till Sunday night or Monday and that's a long time without my baby girlOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Actually, I'm just sitting here thinking, Becles, and if this is going to keep going then take screenshots of everything the little brat posts and use it to show the head how much his unwarranted, ill-thought out interference is damaging your son.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Can't imagine a teenage boy and girl though? Bit weird, and I'm sure ahem, one can't control ones' penor when boobies are on the go, regardless who owns them.....
ho hum, my mind works wrongly.
I have never bathed with any of my kids, I do stick them in together though, L and J have always bathed together and still do sometimes although not as often now. They also now take it in turns to get in with K.....but apparantly he is a bit boring:cool: I think they are getting a little big to bath together (9&7) as they each take up the whole bath, so when both in there isn't much room! I also encourage showers with the older two now.....much less time consuming:pUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Heya ladies, well I know I should be over here with you by now but appears lil lady is just far too comfy! Well actually think she is a bit of a tease cos I keep getting tightenings and then it all dies off again
Tho like kindof cant stop eating today so hope the theory about stocking up is a good one.
Anyhoo what I really came here to ask was, for those of you who are/did breast feed did you bother with specific vitamins to support you through out? I saw in Tesco on Friday Pregnacare Breast Feeding Vits with Omega 3, and have carried on taking the pregnacare plus thru my pregnancy and wondered if it was worth swapping to these once am fin with them/baby is here. The down side is there not cheap, but if there a good thing then I dont mind getting them, espcially when there usually available on 3 for 2. Alternativley can any one recommend other vits?Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

I took just my pregnancy vits till they ran out then the usual multi vit+iron I was taking pre pregnancy, just because I feel better when taking a multi vit. Asda own brand, I don't go blowing massive amounts of money, can't see a difference between the, all. Most of the branded ones are just a regular multi vit with added something (eg, wellwoman is more or less a regular multi vit with iron, magnesium and star flower oil, buying the pots individually costs less than half the price of the branded ones plus you get more of them). Children all bathed and bed, dishes to do and better iron some clothes for us tomorrow.0

I don't take any vitamins as I have quite a varied diet and don't really feel the need, to be honest! I was taking iron after I had H though as I lost quite a bit of blood. I would think a regular multi-vitamin would be fine if you want to take one though.
Harley- I meant to ask, are you back at work part-time or are you doing KIT days? Only I noticed you said that going to feed Kezia at lunchtime meant you lost half an hours pay. My understanding of KIT days was that you got paid one day's wage regardless of whether you work 8 hours or 2 hours so it shouldn't make a difference. Apologies for being nebby but I didn't want you to miss out.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
