Any recommendations for any fairly cheap popper bibs? Rhys' new trick is taking his bib off mid-meal. The phone rang during breakfast so I'm talking while watching him and he maintained eye contact with me at all times while slying pulling his bib off and ditching it over the side of his highchair *rolleyes*

I just wanted to say I think you should read up about fluoride before blindly doing as you're told on using adult toothpaste, it's not something I want my boys swallowing from such a young age so we still use milk teeth tp.

I'm sure the years of studying to acquire the BDS & MGDS after his name, have given my dentist some idea of the advice he should be giving out.

British Dental Health foundation also states that Flouride is naturally present in food and drink such as fish and tea. So does that mean everyone should stop consuming these?

Not that I'll be giving Alex tea, minging stuff, and Joe refuses it too. But again its up to us as individual parents to filter what "they" say and decide which advice we do or do not take.

£5 for 5 from john lewis - but you're in Grimsby aren't you (my roots!) so that's not much help immediately, do you have any friends/relatives nearby a john lewis? or need anything else to get free delivery?? http://www.johnlewis.com/230669453/Product.aspx - sent dp out for bibs and I balked when I saw the john lewis bag but for a fiver, I let him off!

elle do you want sleeves on them or just normal roundish ones? I have a load of normal fabric popper ones but sleeved ones I had to put up with the escape attempts.

Elle, I got popper bibs in Tesco. They're white  and have spots around the edges.

I've done fabulously on my morning organising kick. I'm considering going out this afternoon to purchase a bicycle lock for the pushchair and ... damn it there was something else I needed too.

Ohh.. thankyou always! Might go look in Tesco first (cheaper, I'm guessing ;)), ta SS :) We have the basic round velcro fastening white(!) ones from Asda atm but they're only £3 for 10 so they replaced after a few too many tomato sauce meals! ;) Sami, we do have a couple of sleeved ones not used yet.. Didn't think of them!

Next question... meal suggestions for a Saturday lunch time for four adults and a 2 and 4 year old, anyone?
