Bl00dy school letter, £27 for swimming lessons. Ben can swim over 200 metres so he doesn't need them. Oh and it says pay or don't go and I can hardly leave him out!

Oh I know, it's ridiculous isn't it. At the boys school we have to ay £3pw or they don't go...they only do 10 lessons in the whole year too, as they have to give all the classes in that year a chance to go! When I was little swimming was compulsory, it was therefore free and EVERY week for the whole year!

Susan, afaik swimming is no longer considered compulsory, it is now up to the individual school to provide it as a lesson(if they choose to), although they won't recieve funding, hence asking the parents to pay!!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

I sympathise Tara, we've had a letter home every night this week so far asking for money or plant pots or whaterver, I might just send in a letter asking if they want me to arrange to have her child benefit paid direct to school!

Omg the police just rang. I was totally tempted to start ranting about next door LOL.

But they were asking me where the ex is. Yeah, cheers for ringing at this time of night.

SS my HV wrote a 2nd letter about the DV issues, i didn't get a copy of that one though so can't be certain it actually happened. I'm a bit scared to reveal my facebook findings :o I got the impression the Housing Officer was a bit of a shitstirrer when she visitd me a few times so i reckon she'd tell them what i said. I've already told her they must have speakers or equipment on my wall cos of the sheer volume, but obviously common sense hasn't reached her yet.

I'm constantly amazed at the letters we get asking for money from Aimee's school, they're always fleecing us for something... Free education my eye!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
