Well he didn't go down as well as I had hoped so me and J were in the spare room :(
He's a bit bunged up so I think thats why he couldn't sleep

Up early today for a change so need to get ready and pop spare car seat in for Boo & Isla

Elle - hope work goes OK today :)

Hammy - Does D sleep through until 6am or is he up in the night as well?

Glam - he used to just wake for 1 feed but now he wakes lots more *sigh*. Last night he woke at 11.30, 1.30 and then pretty much hourly since 3.....

I think he is following your J.....

Elle, good luck today. It is beautifully sunny here but freezing cold

I sleep with D in the nursery cos DH would never be fit for work otherwise :( How are you going to cope when you go back to work? :(:(:(

Since weaning, D seems to find trumping painful as he cries when he does it - anyone else find this? :(

My Nanna told be that you weren't allowed to wash your hair during your period. I'm not sure why?!?

My Gran told me that too. If anything it needs washing more as mine goes a bit greasy!

My Gran also told me if you have your period in the week before your wedding, you can't get pregnant on honeymoon. Her theory was confirmed when I had my period that week and didn't get pregnant on honeymoon. Errr I think that was because I used contraceptives, and it was nowt to do with periods :o

My Mam told me everything before mine started and left packets of pads and tampons in my room for me to try. I can't remember when I got hair, but I was in a bra in the 2nd year of junior school and hated it as nobody else had one. I think I was about 10 when I started.

Mam had a hysterectomy when I was very young, so I'd never known anything about it until just before it happened to me. We don't have locks on the bathroom doors here, and Charlotte has been in the toilet with me umpteen times, so I'm hoping she'll just grow up and understand it's part and parcel of being a woman and you just have to deal with it.

There's no bathroom locks because Josh went through a phase of locking himself in the bathroom when he was a toddler, then the lock got stuck at my ex's and he had to break the door down as Josh was in a panic as he couldn't get back out :o

Exam this morning and I'm nervous. 3 hours writing about business functions, so will have cramp in my hand by the end :D
Here I go again on my own....

I know Caitlyn went through a really painfull phase of waking a lot in the night at about 6/7 months.... A lot of what I read said it's linked to a big surge in their development at that age... We're just coming out of the other side of it now, we have more good nights than bad ones... She tends to just wake once for a feed now...

I just got an email congratulating me on winning an Il Tutto changing bag!! :D Have vague recollections of entering but no idea which bag it is... Will have to wait and see what arrives lol...

ETA, good luck today Becles, I'm sure you'll do brilliant :)

We have no locks on the bathroom for exactly the same reason... Aimee was always locking herself in and I took them off out of fear of her getting stuck in there...

Thanks for the advice. I wonder sometimes if it is because he is breastfed so it is a comfort thing but I guess that isn't necessarily true as Glams Jack does it too......Congrats on the changing bag :T

Happy birthday to Doras Daniel :D

ETA - how expensive are those changing bags !!!!!!!! But they are gorgeous.....* jealous*

My periods started and I didn't tell her for 3 days...
Me too - I only told her because I needed sanitary pads and had no money. About a year later she suggested I should go to the doctor because she thought I hadn't had any more since then. As if I was going to tell her every month.

Someone asked me the other day if it was breastfeeding that stopped them sleeping but I honestly believe it depends on the baby... A friend of mine formula fed her son and she had the same problems with him that I had with Aimee... Caitlyn was completely different at the beginning, slept well, settled quickly after night feeds and had epic daytime naps... She went off kilter for those couple of months but she's back to being a lot more settled now... Aimee's never going to be someone that needs a lot of sleep though...
