My eyes are twitchy, when I move my eyes everything jumps? So I'm off to bed. Had a nice long soak so hopefully I'll be all nice and well again tomorrow. Night guys! xx

I had an older sister whose friend had given her a book about puberty that she let me read... My Mother never ever had the chat with us... My periods started and I didn't tell her for 3 days... When I did tell her it was terribly uncomfortable... I don't want that for Aimee... I'd like to sit and talk it through with her... Just don't know when to start really... She's seen blood in the toilet and told me someone must have had a nosebleed... I didn't have the heart to tell her any different... :o

    You've just reminded me......

A couple of months back, my sister was babysitting.
While she was here, Liv had a nosebleed.

Next day, Liv had another so I got her some tissue. Liv moaned and told me to get one of those nosebleed plugs from the bathroom that Aunty Amy had used last night.

Guess what my sister had stuck up my daughters nostril! :rotfl:

I was hoping that Liv would one day ask me about those 'things' in the bathroom - but now she won't, because she knows they're nose bleed plugs. :(

Lol i'm glad he's not the only one with pooey nappy fascination :rotfl:

Millie's Mum i have NO idea how tall C is so yes please i'll measure his too and see how they compare. He's ok with his 16" but it just looks so small compared to him lol.

Becles am not sure if he'd be impressed with that, i'd considered taking him to choose one on the Sunday but thought it might be a bit rubbish compared to coming downstairs on the morning to see it there!
He seems to think he's getting a load of Wii games like, everytime we're in Morrisons he's like 'ooh lets buy a Wii game'. Errr lets not!! So i end up shutting him up by saying wait and see what you get for your birthday  Oops :o

On periods, i started a few weeks after my 11th birthday and didn't tell my mother ever. She must have known, cos there's only so many nosebleeds i would just happen to have on my sheets in the middle of the bed. She was an idiot though and never bought me anything or brought it up. My friend had a big stash in her bedroom for when she started and i used to steal a few everytime i went :o That was the only times (and when we got samples after a school talk) that i used proper towels or tampons. I used to stash my stained pants in my bedroom cos i couldn't put them in the wash. I didn't even feel i could tell my older sis either, not sure why.

Sooo although i'm dreading Amber getting to that age, i will NEVER ever make her feel like i did about it!!

Krystal, DS saw me wiping once and he ran up to me all full of concern "aww mam you've cut yourself are you ok?!" :o:o:o
I was like yeah it's not a cut, grown ups sometimes bleed there. And no more was said on the matter. He was about 4 then.

Off to bed too - busy day for me at my driving course. I'm convinced it's going to be boring as hell.

    Night all. xx

Beenie.. I didn't tell anyone for about 3 years after I started mine, I was 10.. then I lied and said it was only a few months before.. My dad knocked 7 bells of the proverbial out of me and told everyone I had pooped in my pants!!! He is a total fquit I know!

DD3 has breast buds and fine blonde hairs at 9.. she was parading them around the middle room at bed time.. AGAIN!!.. DD1 started with hair etc at about 9 and started AF at 12... DD2 is almost 13, twice the size DD1 was and has all the rest but no AF.. I was sensible this time round though and bought her pads already.. poor DD1 had to use my rather large ones for a day.. she brought me her soiled pants and said 'I found this in my pants!'.. like someone had sneaked it in while noone was looking!

Periods and boobs and fluffy willies are all par for the course in here.. nothing is sacred... you can't fart without getting a round of applause!!

    Hi everyone.
Alex has yacky, gunky conjunctivitis. Had him at the on call Doctor on Saturday night. Got drops, but he has gotten worse. So have been back to GP this morning.
He has been swabbed for tests and given different drops. He is a pitiful mess, but still has lovely smiles for mummy.

Also, I cracked on Saturday and Alex has new wheels. Bought the Baby Jogger City Mini stroller and it is fab.

Awww, I hope Alex feels a bit better now :(

:T Yay for the baby jogger. :j What colour did you get ?

Hope you managed to get some sleep SS

My darling boy *insert rolling eyes here* again decided that 6am is a perfectly good time to start squealing with joy because he is awake :rotfl:

    Morning all..

Hope you got some sleep, SS xx

Went I went to bed, OH and Rhys were sprawled on our bed so I just joined them and fell asleep until about half one when I shifted Rhys to his cot. When I woke up at half six he was back in our bed... Dunno how that happened! I really hope it wasn't me and I moved him while asleep! :o

It's freezing here and all my new workwear is summery, short sleeve stuff :( Think I might have to find myself a luminous orange safety [STRIKE]duvet[/STRIKE] coat and spend the day in the corner of my office, huddled up in that!

Hope everyone has a good day xx

That's quite funny! But kind of ruins the plan... What about towels? What does she think those are? ;)

Aww Hun, that's pants!! It's worse than my Mum, at least she used to buy pads, even if they were the cheapest you could get and she used to lock them away so we had to go and ask her or my Dad for them when we needed them... I had a friend who had a drawer full of all different ones years before she started hers and I was always so jealous :(

I'm pretty sure Aimee's asked me about it before when she was younger... Somehow it's easier to be honest about it when they're younger...:o

I've been awake for hours... Aimee had a bad dream about 4 and came and got in bed with me... Had to kick her out in the end because I couldn't sleep with her there... Never really dropped back off after that, I was waiting for Caitlyn to wake up... Typically she slept through hubby getting up and going to work at 5:30 and woke up at 6... I had to get up then to wait for my friends children... I've got them this morning and taking them to school, then fetching them after school until about 4:30... I can see a nap coming on today...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
