I'm going to meet Csh for lunch and a blether today (as long as she doesn't start any debates with anyone and get me into trouble)!
It's quite sunny here too, so hope the weather is nice along the M8.0 -
Morning all. Had a lie in until 5 past 8 this morning... Typical it happens on a school day so I have to dash round getting Aimee ready... I feel a lot better for it, especially as Caitlyn didn't wake for a feed until 5:30 (just as hubby's '1st' alarm was going off, he usually likes to get up on the '2nd' alarm, but I was scared he'd disturb her too much to go back to sleep so I kicked him out the bed early lol) I don't know if she slept that long because she went to bed later last night or if it was just an anomally... Who knows with these babies?!
Congratulations Jolene, and welcome.
Morning Natalie, I'm off to toddlers in a short while... Ran out of milk yesterday and I'm desperate for a cup of tea... Never thought to try my own milk until I saw Sami's suggestion on facebook lol... Funny really, I always said my biggest regret after Aimee stopped feeding was not making a cuppa with my own milk and I've gone and done it again... Haven't expressed in months so I doubt I'd get even enough for a cuppa out if I tried now!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Its not bad here either, looks promising enough!
Good. I'm away to get ready now and try to get Holly to have a nap. And to stop her blowing raspberries as her chin is going red and spotty with all the saliva!
Does anyone else have a baby who either sneezes or blows raspberries during breakfast each morning?! I am continually covered in porridge!!!
Have a nice day everyone. x0 -

Molly coughs out oatmeal all the time and I'm perpetually covered in it. Now the weather's good enough, I feed her while in my underwear. When it's warmer still, she'll be nudey buff too. Saves on laundry.

Pah, so much to say, but I keep deleting it because it's not quite right. I give up.
:rotfl::rotfl:Me too!!On cars: I am very jealous of all you car-buying types  I bought a Daewoo (surprisingly nice, honest) new 10 years ago, but it is definitely getting close to its last legs now.
I get a car allowance from work (just as a perk, not because I need to drive for work) but I drive so little that it's really not worth giving up the cash to have a company car. I ought to buy something fairly new and more child-friendly and spacious and safe, but I am still hoping forlornly to save up a mortgage deposit at some point... (though I should probably be trying harder at this).
So I feel like I shouldn't buy something when it'll set a mortgage back another year or something and I do still have a car that is technically working! Bah!
I used to work for Daewoo when I first graduated from Law School  See where my expensive education got me
I only applied for the job because they advertised that you got a company car being a receptionist and I wanted a Matiz!!! I got a brand new Lanos, S reg (it was 1999) in a lovely bright red. I was sad to leave the job, just because I had to give the car back!!
I had a company car for the first 4 years or so of this job, then I changes to an allowance so I would have a car to show for it at the end of my contract.
Tara - some insurance companies do take years driving company cars into account for your no claims.Hello,
Thought I would graduate to the parent thread as my baby is a week old today! Sophie was born on the 13th April via c-section, we only got out of hospital on Sunday as I wasn't very well after she was born.
Jolene
Welcome Jolene!! Any chance of a piccie?? We like to coo over teeny tiny babies!
Aless - your situation sounds similar to mine, I fell into this job whilst temping and seem to have built a healthy career on the back of it!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

i'll take whatever they offer
Quite agree JillieI get a car allowance from work (just as a perk, not because I need to drive for work) but I drive so little that it's really not worth giving up the cash to have a company car. I have car allowance as well Bruno as not worth having a car when I live so close to London.
