Yeah i know. But helmets are VAT free, so why not seats!
They are if you ask for one free when you go buy a new car! Isofix baby seat please Mr Ford man - certainly Miss Beenie, what colour would you like (anything but chavvy gold pleeeeease)!

Oh, forgot to mention, it may be cheaper paying for a new seat than the actual VAT on a new car itself, but hey-ho.....

Sad programme about intensive care starting on BBC2... Glad to be going to bed I think
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I think there are drug dealer parents at Keira's nursery now. They are both big and fat with day glo tans and chav lacoste clothes, neither of them work, covered in gold bling, and drive a sooped up big black 4x4 with tinted windows.
I think the woman looks mean. I try and avoid eye contact because she might headbutt me down the stairs.0 -

The easiest option is to pick a cheaper car from the pool cars and let the employer pay you (the difference) from your allocation of vehicle "cost" and the cheaper model.
I've been using that 1st calculator. His work has no pool cars so we have to just pick carefully, the new BMW and Volvo have CO2 of 109 and 119 so keeps the cost right down and we can get the Volvo and all our fuel for 2k a year.

I seriously have no idea what they have been doing?! I thought we would loose all WTC when my job finished and Chris wasn't in childcare.Krystaltips wrote: »Hubby... He earns less than £15k... We are entitled to WTC which means he is on a low wage...
Not what I meant, but if it makes you feel better

Gosh Sami, that's a lot of WTC... We only get £20ish pw...:o
Beenie, the people that got rid of me when I was pregnant with Aimee were a family firm and the nepotism was hideous!
SS, Aimee had a similar style... I think I posted a pic to it a few days ago... (No earring though... As if I ever would!!!)
I meant to say earlier... One of the Mums at newborn group has started making bandana bibs... I gave her a popper setter that I had lying around and she made Caitlyn 3 bibs as a thank you... Super cute!!!
Also they have Chris down as in childcare but that it costs 0 I've told them 3 times he's not in any childcare but they always say it'll come off coz it's on 0 I give up!
but its not the law that you own a carKrystaltips wrote: »You would think car seats would be 0%VAT seeing as they're the law?!

We looked into this but he's had no car for years so insurance, mot, tax, upkeep, fuel and the cost of the actual car it just wasn't worth it. And as he goes for fuel we avoid using mine as much as possible. If we go for the 2k option we could never run a car for that and buy it. :cool:Too many children, too little time!!!

New cars are a waste of money anyway

Pay £12k, a few years later sell it for 7k or something.
Me: buy banger for £250, if it's still alive in a few years, sell it for £250.

My mum loved that bit, tara
She encouraged Dad to get the car he did (not that he needed encouragement
) based on the fact the saleman mentioned flowers for "the wifey"! :rotfl: 0 -
