I'm just after some advice on newborn nappies.

I know it's a bit like how long is a piece of string but can anyone give me a rough idea of how many packs of newborn nappies (size 1) and how many newborn size 2 I would expect to get through? Just debating whether I need to stock up on any more but have literally no idea how quickly you would expect baby to grow!

Doh, forgot I quoted you Gill! Henry was in size 1 for about 4 weeks, then size two for another 4 or so weeks and is now still in size 3. He's a chunk though and about to move onto size 4s. Remember you change them about 10 times a day in the first few weeks so do use lots of nappies to start off with.

YAAAAAAY on job MFD, 3 months is 3 months! Time for more stuff to happen. Very happy for you :) And pre-emptive YAAAY for Mr SS also :) very exciting!

Caz, hope a night's rest sets you straight and you're not really really sick.

I agree with Bruno- everytime I feel hard done by that my crappy SMP doesn't even return last year's tax to me I remember how much my epic birth, daily monitoring at term+10 etc, etc has cost the country and how good the care was in my hour of need and I feel much better.

Anyone know if you can put the chest pads from a SX Ventura car seat in the washing machine? :o
I'm pretty sure I washed mine, 30 deg will be reet :)
Oh my! I got a call at 5.25pm to tell me I have a job for the next 3 months, possibly 6 months. Talk about cutting it fine! Today was the last possible day to get things in order so I don't have a break in employment.

It is not as good as it could be because I still have the potential of the axe in 3 or 6 months time which is hardly job security (so likely to be lots more sleepness nights in the near future) but it is better than nothing. Well actually it is the best news I have had for ages work-wise!

In other news Benjamin bumped his head at the CM today and has a lovely bruise and egg :(

    MFD xx
    yey for not being unemployed!
boo for egg on the bubba's head :(

Yup - 3 months, maybe 6 if they still haven't got their act together to award a contract (it has only been 9 months so far to be fair *rolleyes*)

Means another move of office but only upstairs this time.

Any news on another course for you?

Aaah, I was wondering what GISI was agreeing to!! I must have missed it.

Lovely pic of Molly, SS and well done to Mr SS.
GISI - well done to Henry for rolling, clever boy.
MFD - good news on the job front for the time being.
Pinknico - is your H a bigger version of my little H? If so, good taste! :D

Had visitors in tonight so now making soup for OH's lunch and got bottles to make. Be back in 10 mins!
