No! You don't have to work! Come to sling meets instead!
I wish! :cool:My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Have you tried a fleecy sleepsuit? I am sure the fairies would have one in J's size. Once MacSmiler told me to put a normal sleepsuit under it to stop him getting sweaty I haven't looked back.
I am kind of wondering what to do now though because Benjamin has practically outgrown his 12-18 month sleepsuits and I am undecided as to whether buy sleepsuits or PJ's.
He wears a vest and sleepsuit - when it was really cold he wore a thin fleecy one. I worry about him getting too warm
Do you mean putting a normal sleepsuit under a fleecy one and then a sleeping bag?
Don't know why I'm worried as I let him sleep under our duvet! At least when BIL leaves, you have the spare room free for night wakenings. That is my routine too these days. Up to pop her dummy in where possible, but if she is too awake, and take her into the spare room and we sleep in there so as not to wake OH. She isn't crying though, just blethering away "dadada hahaha" so I just take her into the spare bed with me and I go to sleep. She goes back to sleep when she is ready I suppose! Would be different if she was screaming though.
Its usually screaming until I pick him up - then he stops and usually snuggles into me and goes back to sleep but the minute I put him back in his cot he's screaming again. We usually get the chatting from 5am so I end up in the rocking chair - at least now I can just go in the spare room!
Right, I'm going to feed J then go to bed. Night lovely ladies & BrunoA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
MFD - I find the pyjamas more gemerous in size than the sleepsuits so you may still only need 12-18mths....I have had Kai in PJ's since 9-12mths:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Kiddie scooters?
Think Ambers next sleepwear will be PJ's. Sleepsuits get too short too quick because she is just so long in the body.
Called EH. Bet the mutt shuts up now.0 -
Hiya Millie's Mum
Everything well with you?
Hi, yes we are all good thanks although OH working away a lot, he's in Heathrow all week this week and then Droitwich for the following 3 weeks, getting a bit fed up with that at the mo.Scooters - am I dumb to be buying a £55 one when there are £15 versions available? Am I getting a much better quality item for my money, does anyone have experience in this area?
Congrats btw, what sort of scooter? I wouldn't pay £55 for one for the kids they are too likely to throw on the floor and run off to the swings/leave it somewhere/swop with their friend/customise it using permanent marker. Millie has a micro scooter I paid £15 for 2 summers ago and its still going strong despite being used and abused day in day out.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
MFD - how is your shoulder? Keep meaning to ask you. Mine is much improved.
Thanks for asking - it is mostly better but not back to normal. If I sleep on that side I feel like the bones are crunching together
Glad yours is bettergot-it-spend-it wrote: »MFD- I noticed in Tesco today that they do PJs starting in newborn size. Doesn't everyone use sleepsuits at first?
I would have thought so - although some of the littlies might be in newborn when they are a bit older.
I worry that he will get a cold tummyplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

hmm strangely no picture!

Then Christmas morning tidy as you like!0 -
No cold tummy with a vest underneath too. Rhys is always in a LS vest, sometimes with sleepsuit on top, sometimes PJs0

Re: Sleepsuits vs PJs, Rhys had his first PJs in 3-6mths when he was 9mths
no probs, all fine here thanks, just spent the last 10 mins trying to discreetly nosy out the window there was a crazy woman trying to kick someones door in, i was just about to look up the police stations number but they turned up, not took her anywhere yet though ??!

we only use PJs now because Dylans feet are too big for the sleepsuits unless I have him in 12-18 months and then they are HUGE !! No cold tummy though as the top gets tucked into the trousers and he has a vest on underneath and then his sleeping bag !!The two best things I have done with my life
