OH has said we need to focus on getting the house sorted out now ready for when I go back to work - I've been saying this for weeks!

May is gonna be sooooooooooo busy!
We have IL's & BIL coming up for a few days first week of May (going to Chester races), 13th & 14th May My dad is coming up (hoping he's NOT bringing the new girlfriend ) 15th & 16th Mum and Stepdad coming up, 19th Trafford Meet (hopefully) then back in work on 24th - oh and 6 settling in sessions at creche to fit in as well!

Aw well being busy will at least get me prepared for being back.

Hi all
What a nice day! Sorry to Scots (not for being Scottish, but because I understand that your weather was not so good).
Over 20c here, gorgeous sun all day, had the hammock and the garden furniture out for the first time this year, had brother and his OH and 3-month old nephew over for early lunch, really nice chilled out time in which Elijah charmed them very much and showed off really hard to please them they were particularly pleased when he eventually got the hang of their names

Then in the afternoon we went off to the common after his nap, to enjoy the sun a bit more (by this point neighbours were playing music rather loudly in the garden beside ours - for 6 hours without stopping :mad: this had better not be a regular feature on nice days!). I have facebooked some new pictures from our fun times out and about - here are three:

Glad you had a nice day but damn those neighbours! We had the sport on the radio yesterday in the garden but it was on low - I hate it when you are relaxing and get interrupted. I hate BBQ smoke!

The weather was poop here today compared to yesterday!

Gisi - sounds like you had a lovely weekend. Glad you enjoyed your show the other night and got a break from H. I meant to ask you, did you go for sushi the other day when you said you fancied it? Was it the new Yo Sushi that opened down your way that you were going to? I love Yo!

Csh - Night night. Has Keiren settled down at all now his other teeth are in or is it too early? Let me know about Tuesday if you still fancy it. We can take it Asda Baby Event too if you like!

Glam - Get an early night and fingers crossed for a good sleep. Has the teddy bear made any difference?

Brother made an observation about Elijah which we hadn't really registered before, but is totally true: he has a soundtrack to his life (Batman style, rather than musical). As he goes about his business all day, he narrates:

*puts down an object* "BONG!"

*Throws something" "POW!"

*Enters a room* "Tika-ta!"

*Closes or opens something* "Ping!" *reverses this* "Dong!"

*bounces up and down, e.g. on daddy's tummy* "Bonga-bonga"

.. etc etc.

Has anyone else had a toddler period like this? It's very consistent, he constantly makes these sounds and the same ones, all day every day! It's cute and funny but :confused!

I'll be there and Boo did say she was coming. Hadn't realised it was THIS Wednesday though so thanks for the reminder!

Fitzio - Unfortunately not! The dream feed didn't work either - he took 5oz but still wanted a bottle at 6.30am! Gonna try it again tonight to see as he's still sort of off his food. He's showing all the signs of teething but they just aren't coming through! Oh and have tried just blankets tonight and not the sleeping bag - I'm trying just about anything at the mo!

I wouldn't mind if he woke up and then settled again - I would rather be up 3 times for a dummy than having him in our bed for 3 hours!

OH has veto'd the cot back in our room
