My mummy is fab
She's just bought the wipes, gates and pushchair (though was paying for that anyway) cos I'm majorly skint
Don't think I've done too badly though.. first time of true skintness in 11months!
I'm starting to feel it now! Doesn't help we have a £260 Gas & Leccy bill to pay - we've used more Gas in January to April than October to January! Bizarre!Lucky you Beenie, William is being a pain at night at the moment. He had a bottle at 8ish, so I dream fed him at 12 and then he woke at 5.30 which is a real pain... really want to start feeding a bit better for when I go back to work in a couple of weeks... think the dream feed is not a good idea at the moment with him waking around that time... any ideas?
As far as I am aware the Dream Feed is supposed to be done around 11pm for best results. No idea where I heard that mind.
I did it at 10pm, he took 4ozs and woke up! Finally got him back off but he must have woken up again cos he was magically in our bed at 5am - don't remember getting him
Just got my formula nappy, looked like it had oats in :rotfl:
Mustard seeds :rotfl:I remember them! Don't seem to get them now!
I'm even more poorly today - I woke up with horrific sinus and jaw pain, so took some pretty strong painkillers at 7am went back to bed with J and I feel abit more human now but not much!
Bath seats - I've never used one! I now use the mothercare one for when we have a shower but I never use one in the bath. I just pop enough water in the bottom so that J can rest on the bottom of the bath on his own (the water comes up to his ears) - I then splash water on him or use a jug to pour it over him to stop him getting cold.
He splashes loads & I put him on his tum & he tries to eat the bubbles :rotfl:
Off to ASDA in a bit - need some formula but also wanna see if the event stuff is in.
I WANT THE PUSHCHAIR!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
SM - if we still live here at the time Chris will never be allowed to walk to primary school alone, it is about a 15min walk and we'll walk on nice days car in the rain.
BIL was never allowed to walk from P school either which wasn't 'that' long ago, I remember going to collect him with OH.
Question: Is a whole banana ok for a 10mth baby? Ed is storming through his at the mo
J's been eating a whole banana as pudding or a snack for around a month now so I hope so!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

 Hopefully things won't get that bed.Apparently the eruption of the two volcanoes was a precipitating cause of the French Revolution because it caused the French crop harvest to fail.
Caleb is one of the names OH is currently considering. He's almost convinced it's not too unusual. I like Noah but it sounds silly with our surname.:rotfl: actually I quite like Link
If we have another boy I'm gonna stomp my feet until OH agrees that Caleb or Noah are nice names

Alice must be hungry - she's "reading" a Winnie the Pooh numbers book and it's all about food. Piglet had spaghetti, Pooh wanted some pasta, Rabbit was hungry for flapjack, Owl had baked porridge for breakfast and someone was fighting Roo for the high chair.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Do you use water or milk for baby rice?0

Just measured the kitchen and living room doors - they are about 73cms and the stair gates say from 75cm!!!
Aw well, I'll use them top and bottom of the stairs instead then!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Thanks, will try and get some expressed. Not that i'd think of giving her some first tastes before 6 months of course
I was thinking of Kindof last night, she's been on fb though0 -
Morning all wasnt on at all yesterday so had a mini catch up but apologies if I miss any major happenings.
BM - sucks that you missed dinner last night, hope the test goes well and you can eat soon.
beenie - Have the summer baby bath and love it, but yes it takes lots of water to cover it. The pink plastic support looks tiny to me, we have them at work and never liked them for that reason. Oh and Tahlie pukes after milk too, but I think itrs like Sami says and she is just over doing it, and seeing as she is gaining weight am not too fussed.
3onitsway - primark had adult sleep suits over winter, maybe they do bigger kids ones too.
Bruno - I bought my nephew a cheepie scooter in tesco sale 4/5 years ago, was reduced to £7.50. Its still going now and he's 10.
Happy Birthday Chris x
Well odd evening here last night, Tahlie was her usual grotty self early evening so I just took to feeding her into submission and she fell asleep on me while we watched Avatar, but boy was it a job to wake her for her feed before I headedto bed myself, had to strip her clothes and use a cold damp flannel on her face to wake her! Then after her feed she was wide awake, typical! Anyhoo rest of the night was fine so no complaints really. She's now sparko in her bouncer but will prob wake for a feed shortly.
Looks like am stuck in today
have stupidly left the wrap in the car after going to the car boot yesterday, and yup the puchchair is there too and the car is at work with OH! Need to go to Tesco and get some work trousers for OH as he split the bum on his current ones and is now in his best pair which he'll wreck being in a kitchen
Oh and need a sun hat for T, any one know if one type is better than another? Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

I started J at 18 weeks so I'm saying nothing!
I think it says 'your baby's usual milk' so EBM or Formula - though I found it a PITA to mix up formula just for that so generally fed him his bottle then put the leftover milk in the baby milk.
Right, off to ASDA to stock up on drugs and hopefully a pushchair, then my friends to drop walker off and then Mothercare about car seat :mad:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
