What a wonderful Sister you have Jillie! I have tears in my eyes at her determination to not let the silly little matter of a volcano erupting stop her seeing her wonderful sis and nephew! :T

    thanks sami.

nothing would have stopped her i think :)

Good news for us today from the docs. Edward has put on loads more weight over the last 3 weeks, and has moved from just under the 9th centile to just over the 25th centile in the last 6 weeks! So it looks likely that he's not going to need surgery which is a big relief.

Had a lovely day today otherwise. Took the kids to London zoo, which was lovely in the nice warm summery weather. They specially enjoyed watching the penguins being fed. Hope everyone else has had a lovely day too.

Great news Nicki - I'm so glad he's piling the weight on, and you must be so relieved.

MM how much would the ferry/flights have cost? If you find three or four other people needing to get to the UK in the same situation as you you could hire a taxi - four doctors took one to London from Belfast for £700 ;)
