Question:
The husband seems to think I can pass Molly my sicky-flu germs in my breastmilk. Am I right in thinking that's a [STRIKE]load of crap[/STRIKE] misconception?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

My overexcited and overtired toddler has given up the fight and is now zonked out in bed, for how long I don't know as she went up without having any tea, but she was too tired to eat.
I have a cunning plan with her non-eating cousin - set them up with a picnic in the wendy house and see what happens, no pressure from parents etc.
PINKPIG - I was discussing your situation with my mum (a childminder) she had a baby similar to C and what helped was mum visiting the child in her own home, and the baby was a similar age to C as well.
SS - but you are also passing on major amounts of antibodies at the same time to kick start her immune response!Proud to be dealing with my debts

Anyone want a Beauty Group voucher for a free mini beauty treatment (I think it was manicure, massage, tanning, waxing and facials)? I've got five to be used by 22 Sept 2010. Make sure you check here and read the T&Cs first - you send the voucher in, they give your details to the nearest participating salon (check on that link if there's one near you) then you make arrangements with them when you'll go in for your treatment. You get an app based on when they're free, could take a while. Great when you get it, especially for free, but just forewarning
ETA: I have one for a cut and finish with the Hair Group too. Check here if you can use it
Only reason I can't use them is I already have used them once this year. Only one (very well respected) salon near me does it so they'll say I can't have another one0 -
Tia/Fitz - there's an offer in my local paper for cheap trains is all, and it's usually about £90 to Edinburgh for me & Cam. But if i collect tokens it's about £24 return.
So i thought if i was ever gonna come and visit, it should be then!0 -

You're right. In fact, when you're ill, it's all the more important to BF as there are antibodies towards what you've got in the breastmilk to protect bubba0 -
Nicki - Good news on the weight gain:) My ds1 Had Pyloric Stenosis and had to have an op when he was about 3/4wks old....His problem was it was too thick so not allowing the milk into the stomach properly so it would sit on top and then the muscle would spasm and it would all be across the other side of the room!!
I hope he doesn't need an op, but if it would make things better much more quickly it may be worthwile looking into it:)
Is Sami about?? Sami, I have a quick question about your iCandy Cherry...does it fold with the seat on or do you have to remove it from the chassis to put it in the car?Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

We would arrange a special meet just for you! Just don't book til you check when we are all going on holiday! And Csh will be back at work soon.0 -
Not Sami but I have a Cherry - seat has to come off the chassis to fold it up, but it sits neatly on top of the chassis in the car.

Thanks ladies
I've just eaten some homemade chicken soup and hopefully that will help. I don't remember the last time I felt this bad, which is probably a good thing because it's awful.
I hope all the other sickies are over the worst of things.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

It was just a thought, i think the offer is a bit limited, dates wise so i wouldn't expect everyone to make plans to accomodate me
It's quite confusing, it doesn't let us book for the school hols but i have to book 7 days in advance and by this Monday.
http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/railoffer/ << I've already got the tokens cos i've been having the paper delivered all week
edit - oh that site says you have to book THREE weeks in advance lol!! I'm sure it sad 7 days last time i looked.0
