Is there gonna be another meet in Scotland?
We'll be the ones with the alcohol gel scrubbing everything
Nicki, great news about Edward! :j Meant to ask, was it to do with his stomach sphincter? My friends little boy had a problem where it had no muscle tone to stay closed but it tightened up on it's own by about 6 months or so, and luckily he managed to escape surgery too.
Boys in bed, Amber is juts going. She has had about a quarter of a 7month jar and a fruit pot and 2-3oz milk. She looks done now. But has been sitting up today and it at the moment sitting next to me watching tv and babbling.

Elle - Fish Pie
I poach the fish in full fat milk and some dried herbs for about 8 minutes, while thats on I nuke a medium sized potato (cut into 4) in the micro then mash it up with some cooked veg (usually brocolli, cauli & carrot).
If you make sure there's enough milk in it then it mashs up quite well.
He loved it and ate lots - then had a yoghurt, an 6oz bottle of HiPP Organic and is in bed :T
He won't stay there but hey!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
how does the taxi get across the irish sea though if the ferry is full?

The car spaces are available, it's just the foot passengers causing the problems
Theoretically, a person willing to rent a car and book it on loads of back-and-forth ferries, then take paying passengers point to point could make a fortune... :money:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Why, are you in the market for some food poisoning?! Are you paying us a visit?
Caz - thanks for the tip about the Loola harness. Ours is ok at the moment but with the cosytoes on it's way too tight and she's only little! Will e-mail them.
Glad most of the ill children seem to be improving.0 -

They seem to think so. He hasn't had the endoscopy which would confirm it, because if they found something, then they'd want to fix it there and then, and if he can do without surgery then obviously we (and his current doc) would prefer that. Tbh I can't really get my head round this, as if he needs surgery, he needs surgery, but if there's any ambiguity about the position, I'd rather do a watch and wait to see if things resolve on their own rather than pile straight in, I suppose. I think its the pyloric valve (not sure if I've spelled that right) which is the problem, and the theory was that this would need to be reconstructed to keep the food from being regurgitated.0 -
Question:
The husband seems to think I can pass Molly my sicky-flu germs in my breastmilk. Am I right in thinking that's a [STRIKE]load of crap[/STRIKE] misconception?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

My overexcited and overtired toddler has given up the fight and is now zonked out in bed, for how long I don't know as she went up without having any tea, but she was too tired to eat.
I have a cunning plan with her non-eating cousin - set them up with a picnic in the wendy house and see what happens, no pressure from parents etc.
PINKPIG - I was discussing your situation with my mum (a childminder) she had a baby similar to C and what helped was mum visiting the child in her own home, and the baby was a similar age to C as well.
SS - but you are also passing on major amounts of antibodies at the same time to kick start her immune response!Proud to be dealing with my debts

Anyone want a Beauty Group voucher for a free mini beauty treatment (I think it was manicure, massage, tanning, waxing and facials)? I've got five to be used by 22 Sept 2010. Make sure you check here and read the T&Cs first - you send the voucher in, they give your details to the nearest participating salon (check on that link if there's one near you) then you make arrangements with them when you'll go in for your treatment. You get an app based on when they're free, could take a while. Great when you get it, especially for free, but just forewarning

ETA: I have one for a cut and finish with the Hair Group too. Check here if you can use it
Only reason I can't use them is I already have used them once this year. Only one (very well respected) salon near me does it so they'll say I can't have another one

Tia/Fitz - there's an offer in my local paper for cheap trains is all, and it's usually about £90 to Edinburgh for me & Cam. But if i collect tokens it's about £24 return.
So i thought if i was ever gonna come and visit, it should be then!
