Oh Bruno, how is breastfeeding at the moment? Is Mrs M planning on tandem feeding?

It can get uncomfortable breastfeeding through pregnancy due to the changes in breast tissue. It can also affect the taste of the milk so quite a few babies/toddlers can wean themselves... But if she's able to stick with it, feeding an older child can help relieve engorgement when the new baby arrives and the milk comes in... ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Morning :hello:

Big congratulations to Bruno, Mrs Bruno and E! Wonderful news.

More gentle hugs to all those with poorly households, but by the sounds of it you are all hopefully nearing the end of the horrible bugs.

I am such a lazy moo. Henry and I both slept till 9am, so it will now be a mad rush to get ready and sorted. Off out to the shops and lunch with the girls, then I'm off out for dinner and to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the theatre with my mum and nan. Busiest saturday for months me thinks. Must go and pump now and give the boy breakfast otherwise we will be late for everything!

    Morning all..

Congrats Bruno and Mrs B :D Hope all goes smoothly xx
*hugs* for all the poorlies and especially the exhausted mummies xxx

Sami, mum just wants her own :p I'm disorganised enough, I don't need swapping pushchairs between car boots to deal with in the mornings too! ;)

Rhys woke in the middle of the night, 3 something I think, so I brought him in with us.. purely because he was looking so cute and I wanted a cuddle :o He was practically asleep again as soon as he touched our mattress. OH woke up with both Rhys' arms wrapped around his, too cute :D

We're off to the ILs this afternoon but just chilling out 'til then :)

Hope everyone has a good day and Katie's party is fab! (it is today, isn't it? Or is it tomorrow? :o) xxx

    Ooh congrats Bruno! :D

Aless, being all-baby-all-the-time does take its toll, it's just that i don't have anyone to moan about it to (except you lot lol). It's currently being solved by a stint in the L&G so we can breathe separate air for 5 mins. :rotfl:

Sorry, I'm having serious misidentification problems the last couple of days. I blame the germs.

sister is on the last leg of her journey...tram from manchester picadilly to Radcliffe. then just a few mins walk. says she is shattered but is ok.

off to catch up on last nights posts :)
What a wonderful Sister you have Jillie! I have tears in my eyes at her determination to not let the silly little matter of a volcano erupting stop her seeing her wonderful sis and nephew! :T

ooh wonderful news from Bruno-land! :j As everyone says 2nd time is more crampy, I also had an implantation bleed around this time which scared the wotsit out of me!
E sounds deeeelightful! I'm loving tummy licks :rotfl: and red shoes are definitely something to be proud of!

oh no tandem feeding, I'm currently in a not liking the BF mood (sore nips :() whenever I'm in a downer on it I get scared that I'll end up tandem feeding, which I'm not against per se but I feel it would facilitate a much older BFing child and I'm not wanting to be feeding Ed past 3yo really.

Not really looking for advice/wise words just wanted to get it 'out there':o

    Happy Birthday Ladybird!
I'm most pleased that I was the 1st to say happy b-day to mooki because I was up until silly o'clock last night lol

    Fair enough elle :)

Oh and random fact, Chris found some of my old photos, bits n bobs at mum's last night and in it was a list of baby names (I have been obsessed with listing baby names since I was about 8yo) That one had Alice as the 1st choice girls name
