Hey Amber is a genius. She's been chewing on the microphone and somehow she's got it saying "sing it baby" :D It didn't work when i've been at it lol. Must have a loose connection.
ooh maybe she has a future as a sound technician :p

    Congratulations Bruno and Mrs Bruno!!

Do you think you're at the tail end of night wakings with E?

Thanks all for congratulations :) early days obviously.

We actually had quite a stint without night wakings - maybe a month or more? But then he was a bit ill and they came back and at the moment it's more common than not that there will be 1 night waking somewhere in the middle. He is usually easily re-settled though. We're not trying to "fix it" now, just assuming it will slowly get better. His morning rising is slightly harder work than the night wakings
Oh Bruno, how is breastfeeding at the moment? Is Mrs M planning on tandem feeding?

It can get uncomfortable breastfeeding through pregnancy due to the changes in breast tissue. It can also affect the taste of the milk so quite a few babies/toddlers can wean themselves... But if she's able to stick with it, feeding an older child can help relieve engorgement when the new baby arrives and the milk comes in... ;)

She has decided she doesn't want to actively wean him - which means tandem feeding could easily be a possibility - but I think we'd all be slightly happier if he was put off by taste changes or whatever and self-weaned. She's already getting some of that discomfort off and on it seems!

Beenie - Amber is gorgeous. That microphone does look pretty tasty though, so you can't blame her for having a good chomp!

MDW - Is it Katies birthday? I saw you mention party and cake.....has she got a gruffalo cake?

Bruno - Congratulations on genuis Elijah and new baby. Hope the pregnancy goes well for your OH

Caz - Glad to hear Charlie is out of the hospital, but :( at Grumpy Erin! Have you had any sleep  You need a rest yourself missy!

Elle - Saw Rhys pic on FB of him fast asleep in the Jumperaoo. Bless him. When you gotta sleep, you gotta sleep :D You can share the croissant with me though :p

Sugar - Hope you get the planes or hotel sorted. That volcano has scuppered a lot of plans hasn't it!! Hope you feel better soon too

Krystal - Can't believe she only paid you a tenner  One of my friends did that, but it was early morning, I did her a favour going up to watch her 5 month old baby (which is tres boring to me) at 6am, had to get a taxi with a half asleep Keira, and she said she'd pay the taxi fare, well she never did, and did overtime so I didn't get home until 8pm. I was  and haven't watched him since! Because she takes the biscuit

    Mookie - Happy Birthday :D :j

It's a nice day today, have Ellie staying overnight again, so once she gets here I'll take them out to the park for a while. It seems quite windy here though and I hate the wind, it makes ya cold.

On a final note, as you are my internet friends and unreal, it is ok to say that we are at the BFP stage. Only 4-5 weeks in so no real news beyond that. OH is a bit anxious as she is much crampier this time than last, she sees the doctor on Tuesday just in case.
    Tentative :j

Oh and random fact, Chris found some of my old photos, bits n bobs at mum's last night and in it was a list of baby names (I have been obsessed with listing baby names since I was about 8yo) That one had Alice as the 1st choice girls name
    I'll let you steal it.

We're still debating boy's names. OH is currently considering a shortlist of about six. (Girls names are easy and I have all the lists etc from last time so they can be done nearer the time.)
