Glam - really hate to say this but your car seat is def fitted wrong it screamed at me the min I saw that second pic! just in case your wondering how I know well am shamed to admit now but I work for mothercare too, have been trained directly by britax tho and even hold a trainers cert. On that note when you had your seat fitted did they do any paperwork, you should have had and had to sign it too to say you were happy with the fitting.

Gym - wow guy must be a long baby, T is still in newborn (tho I don't think for much longer!) not very mse but we use vanish on pooh stains and it works fab.

Caz - hope your able to bring C home tonight x

gah can't remember much else! Got Tahlie weighed today and she's now 9lb 2oz. Went shopping with mil earlier and was dead chugged as managed to bf in the car without any pillows, so pleased things are def getting easier, would never have thought it poss a few weeks ago :D ooh and sad I know but we got a new iron, not that I like ironing or anything but if I have to do it one that actually gets rid of creases is handy.

Oh and on the subject of second car seats, the criteria is baby must be over 20lb (9kg) and able to sit unaided for a min of 20 minutes. Tho you don't have to move them as soon as they get to that, intact the longer they can rear face the better. If your not sure on the weight limit of your seat then there's an orange sticker on the base but most go up to 13kg unless there older seats.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
    Working on baby no2 :D

It's finally happened. I lost Joseph. It was just like you hear people describe it, he was there one second and then he was gone. Puff into thin air. I should say before anyone worries that he only stayed lost for 5 mins or so, but I was on the verge of a breakdown. Sainsbury's carpark, security guard says we'll call the police. He could be under a car or been taken. I was so lucky there was a man standing outside, bless him, who actually saw my darling son running back inside the shop (thought he was with someone else), so the search area was easier. We were about to get all the staff to search the shop when I saw the monkey happy as larry darting in and out of the checkouts. Of course when he saw me he thought it was a great game and ran faster.
I'm offloading this on you guys, because I can't really tell my friends and family, they'll just blame me and I don't need that right now.
    Thanks for listening.

how awful for you :( it really can happen to anyone though. Just be thankful he thought it was a game and was fine, always makes me feel sick in the stomach when you see little kids lost and there crying there eyes out :(

a friends little boy vanished from site in a department store and next she saw was him at the top of the escalators having gone up a level  thankfully all turned out ok :D

*hugs* Agutka, that must have been terrifying. I had a bit of a wibble earlier when Molly vanished under my chair - an open space like that would probably have finished me off.

I sometimes think that babies are born as small and helpless as they are because if they were born a bit mobile like other mammals all we poor mummies would have heart attacks before they were old enough to take care of themselves, so they learn the fright-inducing stuff in stages.

*hugs* for Caz and Charlie too and all the other sickly littleuns and bigguns.

I'm going to play one more game of Bejeweled and off to bed. Goodnight lovelies.

    Poor you!
Hows the GD? I see from the sig its a C-Section.

Sami - ooooops I used to have the straps looser on the old car seat! :o

Som - oh dear! What is wrong with it? Is it the seat belt going round the back?
All I've ever done is pull the belt to tighten it so it's not been moved
I am  right now - I know you work for MC. I remember from pg thread.
I probably did sign it but I don't see how I would know what it right or wrong!
More annoyed that I was right by MC today so could have popped in - plus I have driven over 1000 miles with J in a dodgy car seat! Went to MC specifically to get it fitted cos I'm crap at stuff like that!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
When the HV first came round to weigh her HV removed her nappy on the changing unit she weed and it hit a basket of dry washing 3ft away!
Alice weed on the scales and the way the HV was you'd think it had never happened before.

She did once pee standing up. THAT was something to behold.
Alice had a phase of that at about 15 months. She spent an afternoon doing little wees every ten minutes just because she thought it was so fun.
