I was so lucky there was a man standing outside, bless him, who actually saw my darling son running back inside the shop (thought he was with someone else), so the search area was easier. We were about to get all the staff to search the shop when I saw the monkey happy as larry darting in and out of the checkouts. Of course when he saw me he thought it was a great game and ran faster.
I'm offloading this on you guys, because I can't really tell my friends and family, they'll just blame me and I don't need that right now.

Aw Honey! Michael did it to MIL in a Glasgow shopping centre. Christopher did it to DH and BIL and ended up being pulled on stage at the radio roadshow! He does it ALOT. Your heart stops, and they just think it's funny the lil gits!

Jam IIRC from when I bought Katies current seat (the same one) it's to so with force being exerted on the seat belt buckle during a crash if it's touching anything there is a risk of the belt being forced to unclip IYKWIM. Assistant in MC called it 'buckle crunch' or something similar.

Get one of the larger ones with a back, some of them have 5 point harnesses that you can remove when they are older. Its what we use for Chris, I'll try and find a link

Night 3 of singing outside Benjamin's door and it is going really well. He still cries when I leave the room but just 2 rounds of Twinkle Twinkle and he has been down since 7.30pm.

*whispers back* I had to do that with DS1. Only I read a book, next to the cot, end of the cot, next to the door, outside the door, on the stairs, half way down the stairs....

*whispers even quieter* it's night 2 of giving V her bottle downstairs in her sleeping bag whilst watching the bedtime hour on cbeebies, taking her up, giving her a kiss, and instantly leaving the room and going downstairs.

Don't tell V I told you or she'll be a horror tomorrow night while i'm out and OH is 'babysitting'.

Liverpool is lovely, and flights should be cheap. (Well they are from Liverpool to you). And nearby is Wirral which is beautiful, and Chester.

Hello everyone
This is my first post on this forum, I usually just look at the Grabbit thread but now I've found this I'm sure that will all change!!

I have a 12 month old little chap who's very fond of me [if you know what I mean;)] so much so that now when we go out in the pushchair he cries after about 10 minutes because he can't see me.

Last week in desperation I bought a really cheap Bebe Confort Loola pushchair, with a seat that faces me, from ebay. He loves it and it folds small enough to fit in my boot which is even better as a lot of pushchairs with seats that face either way are big bulky things that don't fold small enough for me boot [we live rurally so this is a must].The first problem is it's been very well used by it's previous owner and looks really tatty so I want to buy a new one. The next problem is they are mega expensive and we are a bit poor!

So,eventually, my question is: does anyone know where I can get a new one cheapish or does anyone know/have experience of a similiar pushchair? I'mwondering if there are discount warehouses for pushchairs or is that just madness:rotfl::rotfl:

If you have had this problem with your little one I'd love to hear if and how you overcame it!

Yeah we did Liverpool at Easter 2 years ago so we could visit the memorial wall and see the grounds. It was FAB !! It is still an option to go back there as it is relatively cheap to fly to, but I kind of want some ideas as I always just think of the big cities !!

Ooooh, come to Liverpool. You'll be near to me, Mel, Sami, Glam, Fritha, Sparkle and newby North West ladies. And i'm sure if someone as important as MM was visiting, MFD and Krystal and other (funny accent) ladies would visit too!

We could all give you ideas of places to visit out of the city centre.

Thanks, sadly the chassis is tatty as well as the seat, though I should point out the seller was very honest about it and I bought it as an experiment really. I can only afford £100 max but thanks again for information :beer:

MM - yep you are important. There are lots of lovely places to visit in the Northwest.

Tia - it's the seats with the high backs I'm after, they just look comfier than the other kind so all recommendations welcome.
