Krystal- what are you doing about your dodgy cosytoes? Are you going to open a dispute.

The freecyclers have been, which is good as it has freed up some garage space.

And I am getting my carpets cleaned on Friday! £100 but that doesn't seem too bad to me for a two bed house? Fingers crossed they do a good job.

MFD-do you use Freecycle? Could you ask for a travel kettle on there since it is the kind of thing people get rid of?

Sami- great news about Edgar...he is just weird like you then :p.

Hello stranger BTW! How is little alien nephew? :)

Hi :) glad to see you back, I much prefer you here and moaning to absent! Tiny alien nephew I have sadly not seen again :( as they were going to come round for lunch on Sat but we were too much of a plague house to risk it. But apparently he has just unleashed his first proper smiles and they are over the moon, and generally coping well.
I vote 3 weeks in California with an MFD in your suitcase to introduce Elijah to the sights of Sausilito ;)

Should I be a MFD to be grammatically correct?

I think of MFD as a word in its own right rather than just an acronym, so I would be saying an EmEfDee.

California obviously lots of appeal... Elijah has in fact spent a little time in Sausalito already but probably doesn't remember a whole lot ;p mainly, terror of 16 hour journey with insanely active child who yells and wails and headbutts when thwarted, and fear of many nights in FIL's spare room with Elijah sharing with us  also obviously quite a lot more expensive and I do want a house some time in the future so I should probably try harder to save :o

I won't mention that I'll be finished for the week either :D

Any ideas on what you are getting for your birthday present?
I think for mothers day Mum & MIL are just getting a little something from Liam, but I don't know what yet. Might get my Mum some flowers too, cos she's looking after Liam.

I've emailed asking for a full refund... If I don't get one today then I will file a dispute tomorrow... She sent me something faulty, I'f I'd have bought it from a shop I would have expected a full refund so why should eBay be any different?!

We bought small easter egg yesterday for the family children (I don't buy them for my own children :o) We're 2 down already... I think buying chocolate in advance may have been a mistake...:o:cool:

after last week, E and I seemed ok by Sunday though OH still felt grim, then Sunday evening E threw up again, then Monday he was very fragile and off his food and OH was very snotty and sore-throated, then Tuesday he seemed ok, OH was still bad and I started getting cold-y, Tuesday night he threw up again...
then today I am heavily on the Lemsip and regretting going to work... so general *boggle* all round, we are some sort of plague house.
    Hope you're all better soon.

Also I had totally forgotten cousin's wedding on Sat - your weddings talk the other day reminded me luckily - he had a bit of a wobble when I asked if toddlers were ok as there was no mention either way, said that he didn't think anyone else was bringing one, went off and discussed with wedding planner and took a week to come back with an "ok then"!
And I was a bit late coming to the wedding list, but there was nothing on it under £45/50 or so  right up to items in the many hundreds... don't know how well-off his bride's family are but I begin to wonder!
 I never even look at people's wedding list - I just give a handmade gift.
    e.g.

When we got married, we didn't mention gifts on the invitations and only gave the list to people who requested it. We weren't too fussy so most things we didn't give detailed specifications with the idea being that it gave people more flexibility to get a good deal rather than being forced to buy something which they good have got cheaper elsewhere. We ended up with bottom of the range of the larger items and top of the range of the smaller things (e.g. beautiful lead crystal fruit bowl). We were suprised by the demand for a list though - ours ran out and we had to add some more things. OH also had to spend an hour going through the list on the phone with his parents justifying why it was so small. We also found all the big things went first.

can't help thinking its irresponsible to make/sell something that breaks so many of the 'rules' for making up formula! (from the not very detailed blurb)
But presumably the idea is that it is being made at the time of consumption which means it isn't left to grow germs? (Also the rules change so much it would be pretty much impossible to develop something which followed them as they'd change by the time the product reached the market.)
My mum is coming down with the spare key but I dunno if nursery will even take her in cause we will be so late!
 Do they have a policy of turning people away if they're late? (Sounds a bit unreasonable to me unless they're going on a trip or something and have already gone.

    Hi all :)
Just watching OBEM on On Demand. Don't know why I bother cause I always cry!

Caitlyn had another session at the CMs yesterday, she was grumpy again but not too bad.

There's a Little Tikes playhouse advertised on my local netmums for £20 - do you think that's a good price? She says the door has come off but is easy to put back on.

    Ooh - YAY for Edgar!

My new TV cabinet and lamp table are coming on Friday - will be the first time I've had a proper decent unit for the TV! Am excited as I've been waiting 2 months already.

Caitlyn's having a good bounce in the Jumperoo. Had her weighed this morning and she's 16lb 1oz, so doing quite well since she started weaning.

Hope you're all having a lovely day in the sunshine!
