There's a Little Tikes playhouse advertised on my local netmums for £20 - do you think that's a good price? She says the door has come off but is easy to put back on.

I'm always wary when people sell things that are 'easy to fix' bl0ody fix it then sell it then?????? I just don't get it. I wouldn't trust something broken.

I suppose I can agree with that but the rules it breaks have been around at least 3yrs (because I 'had' to follow them for Chris)
eg. fundamental rule is to always add powder to water (to ensure you get the correct quantity) so unless the machine measures the water (it may do but is no mention in the short blurb) it's actually a danger to babies.

The water appears to not be boiled which I understand it important.
also the water isn't hot enough to 'sterilise' the powder so 3 rules I can think of that it breaks.

from the description it sound like it is very like the tefal quick cup, I have one of those and it says very clearly that you shouldn't use it for making formula because it doesn't boil the water

I seen this when BB first mentioned it and theres not a lot of info with it. I assumed the water reached boiling point then was cooled at kept at the right temperature.
I really don't think they would make or design something that wasn't suitable for purpose. Theres no info on the website about how it works.

I won't mention that I'll be finished for the week either :D

Any ideas on what you are getting for your birthday present?
I think for mothers day Mum & MIL are just getting a little something from Liam, but I don't know what yet. Might get my Mum some flowers too, cos she's looking after Liam.

Hmmph you can go off people you know :p I have no idea what I'm getting off Dave/Daniel but apparently he's already ordered two things? So who knows. I think my Mum wants some jewellery so we'll have a look for that tomorrow.
Gimme your number and I will call you ;)Awww how nice would that be :)

You do know that when he is older Daniel will combine Mothers Day and Birthday gifts don't you? My mum is 5th March, same a Fergie, and I have spent my whole life either combining gifts or tearing my hair out trying to think of 2 ideas.

Nope no no I won't let him :rotfl: this is like my Dad his birthday is around the same week/weekend as Fathers Day, however I do try my hardest to get him two seperate presents. Although it depends what he wants as if it's expensive then I will combine them.

Aww my friend at work has just bought me a pair of earrings for no reason :A They're my fave design aswell Butterflies :D

Reads here like that machine is just a glorified bottle warmer. Put powder in the bottle and it adds a measured amount of warm water to the bottle. It must either boil the water first or you add it boiling and it keeps it at 37. Not sure. Anyway total rip off at £70!!!
