But presumably the idea is that it is being made at the time of consumption which means it isn't left to grow germs? (Also the rules change so much it would be pretty much impossible to develop something which followed them as they'd change by the time the product reached the market.)
I suppose I can agree with that but the rules it breaks have been around at least 3yrs (because I 'had' to follow them for Chris)
eg. fundamental rule is to always add powder to water (to ensure you get the correct quantity) so unless the machine measures the water (it may do but is no mention in the short blurb) it's actually a danger to babies.

The water appears to not be boiled which I understand it important.
also the water isn't hot enough to 'sterilise' the powder so 3 rules I can think of that it breaks.

from the description it sound like it is very like the tefal quick cup, I have one of those and it says very clearly that you shouldn't use it for making formula because it doesn't boil the water
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

 After is not so bad but before? Although how do you manage the bottles while camping? When we went camping I still expressed for the 10pm bottle and it used to take ages sterilising everything on the trangia. (And OH managed to get a bottle in the flame without realising and melt it too.)

Milton tabs to sterilise whilst camping worked out easier for us than boiling on the trangia :)

Tbh - I would probably go all high-tech and pay for a pitch with EHU (electric) that way I could just take the steam steriliser and a heater to keep the littlies warm at night;):D It would also make life easier as we could take a little electric kettle for quick bottle making. To be pondered on yet though:)

There's a Little Tikes playhouse advertised on my local netmums for £20 - do you think that's a good price? She says the door has come off but is easy to put back on.
Sounds a good price to me.

I'm still  at our next door neighbours for stealing ours. I wouldn't be so annoyed but their child never uses it whereas if they hadn't taken it Alice would have had loads of use out of it.

Speaking of eBay, I bought 2 pandora necklace and bracelet sets back at the end of January which never arrived, so did a paypal dispute after being to to 'be patient and have faith they was posted a week before you payed' and got my money back. Guess what turned up this morning? But they are cheap knock offs, I knew they were 'pandora style' but the pic made them look nice and said they were sterling silver. Uhm, if they are sterling silver I am a size 6 super model. So moral dilemma...

Oh and I tend to charge £2.50 postage for most small things (baby clothes), postage is usually £1.61 1st class, and I don't feel guilty at all. I look at postage when buying something and count that when I work out my max bid.

Could you not just steal it back? That said, it wouldn't really be stealing, just reclaiming!

Whoops - I forgot to reply to Sami's question. Bob and Shirley are the parents in the hypothetical family weezl is making a one month £100 meal plan for.

I would go round and say to them something along the lines of, "If you're not using the playhouse can we have it back please." but OH won't let me as he thinks it would be bad for neighbourly relations. We don't know whether they actually know that we know they stole it from us as they took it after we owned the property but before we moved in. (Which also means they may not think they actually stole it.)
