    Awesome gift finding types!

It's the MIL birthday soon, but she is such a fussy !!!!!, I have no idea what to get her.
Chocolate - no, it's lent and she then gives it back to you for your birthday and moans about getting crappy chocolate.
Candles - give her a headache.
Bath stuff - she's allergic to everything except dove or johnsons (depending on what you have given her)
    Make up - doesn't wear
Perfume - doesn't wear because she gets a headache
Clothes - she is plus sized and fussy
Vouchers - she moans about getting boring vouchers, it doesn't show any love and care.
Ornaments - I refuse because she leaves them in the box.
Day trips, experience days etc - she will suddenly be ill.

On top of that, anything you do get her she has probably already bought herself (and hidden in a room in a bag in a box along with the other 2). This woman had 3 face saunas, that she bought for herself and never used any of them!

And taking her shopping is no use either after she started going on about this horrible bag someone had bought her that she hates and would never use etc etc... Yeah, we bought her it after she picked it out specifically and it cost bloody £50!

So what the hell can I get the fussy old bat? And of course, DH has no idea, birthdays are my job...

Fooks sake  The yellow men came back and i was in my usual booby-out position on the sofa. I bought a bolt for the gate and they just opened it (cos it's well secure innit).

Obviously too much effort to knock and say we need to inspect the garden *rolleyes lots*.

Haven't posted for a few days, will catch up later got DS friend home for tea need to collect them now.

Oh did want to share my good news of the day btw :D

Sent my old N73 with cracked screen and sticky knackered joystick/pad to Mazuma Mobile, but ticked it as "Working" just to try my luck. For non-working they'd pay me £23.

They're sending me a cheque for £55 :T:T:T So they obv consider it as "Working" :D

Well impressed, i paid £110 for it, 2nd hand, 3 years ago!! So to get half back on it is amazing.

Jenny, possibly... but got to watch with the headaches..

I swear she goes out her way to criticise what you get her. One year we didn't get her anything... oh the drama! And she doesn't drink either.

susan if it was mine and i knew it was mine you best believe id take it back ... if i spent the pennies then its mine .. end of (but thats just me :D) x
It was in the garden when we bought the house. The house was a repossession and had been empty for four months before we bought it. So technically it is ours and we bought it when we bought the house but we didn't specifically pay money for the playhouse. Although they did knowingly take it, they wouldn't have known the house had been bought so probably just thought it didn't particularly belong to anyone and that new people might just throw it away. If their child actually used it, I wouldn't be so  about it but she doesn't. (I've seen her in the garden like six times in the nine months we've been here.) I would have gone round when we first noticed and said, "Our playhouse appears to have blown into your garden, we're just taking it back." but OH thought we should be nice to them and not get their backs up.
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.

Tia what about a card with the following

    Dear MIL

As you are so bl00dy difficult to buy for, this year we have decided to get you an extra special present. It's so special because you can't actually
see it but it can be whatever you want it to be and can change on a daily basis depending on your ever changing moods. All you need to do is sit down, close your eyes and visualise it. As this present is so special it will last for many birthdays to come.
We hope you have much enjoyment from your present and we ask that any previous presents we have given you be returned to us for eBay as they are still boxed and could be classed as brand new. :)

    Have a lovely day

    Tia, DH & brood :D
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
