Sami - I felt bad driving back from Ikea with a huge box poking out the boot which was right against J's seat and the boot was open with him rear facing in the back!
When I returned it he was barefoot an curling his toes round the box!

I thought you might have to move a seat to the front and put seats down.

ooooooooooooooooops not done bottles or anything! Better go and do it now.
So much for an early night! J is going to my friends for an hour or two tomorrow - be interesting to see how he gets on!
I was wondering what Ed would think of his view going from his brother to a big box blocking out the sun :p our boot is a bit of a pain actually because the opening is a lot smaller than the actual boot so long things that would fit in there you can't actually get in and the window is really slanted so nothing tall can go in or you'll smash the window

Tell her I love her :D

SORRY!!! There were some but they were teeny-tiny sizes and I sent the woman away to look for more. Came back with plain ones with elephants on that were boggin (and not the triangle bum ones).

Then I had a drunk behind me at the till trying to be all amusing and I swear if I had been breathalised by the time I got to my car I would be over the limit just from breathing the same air as him. He followed me all the way to that car, I got in and locked the doors so quick, I almost hit the post when I forgot to change into reverse! Doh!
Fitz Poor holly And DH it's horrible when that happens

Caz (((((GREAT BIG HUGS))))) FOR MY LITTLE TIGER FRIEND x x

El was sick again this evening so is not even keeping water down now. She has slept all day and is now in bed.

Seriusly, too much of a coincidence for them all to get sick after being at TT. Hope she is better soon!

    Can I just say:

Andrew rolled over from back to front half-a-dozen times today :j :j :j :j :j

After a sleep though, he'd forgotten again what to do with the bottom arm :rotfl: So he's having to learn it again. I left him on the rug on my parents floor, he rolled himself over and started commando crawling out of the room before anybody noticed :rotfl:

Woohoo! Now he will forget how to do it for a week then when you're nto looking he will suddenly remember and you will get a shock :D

Amber can't crawl at all. Andrew would win in a race to the rice cake. (then Amber would just eat him or something)

Thanks.. I was mainly thinking of it for around the house so I can have my hands free to deal with K, he is still only a baby himself and will only just be 15mths when the newbie arrives. I was thinking about things like sorting his lunch out etc....that may become stressfull if newbie is also screaming for attention!!

At the end of the day I have no idea of how newbie will be, and I may be pleasantly surprised and have another chilled baby like Kai:)

I found the baby bjorn (or Tomy) better for about the house. Felt I had to always keep a hold of her in the sling!
  • Aless - I have a few RL mummy friends whose babies would not take bottles and they moved straight to milk from a sippy cup. The basic tommee tippee flip spout cup (about £1.30 in sainsburys) is the best - there is a reason why everybody seems to have this cup. I bought several others (which were crap) before I clicked :o

Kindof - we have the TT Colic Bottles and I stick the whole thing in the micro without even taking the top off. You can shake the TT colic bottles BTW.

SM - congrats (late I know!)

Hope all the poorly sicky babies get well soon.

    Yay for Andrew :T

Hubby has finally realised how stressed/down I am (I have been telling him I am not coping for a while now) and has spoilt me tonight, bless him. Doesn't make life any better long term (or even short term) but at least I feel a little loved, bless him.

Caz - thinking of you and Charlie xxx

I still love you for trying tia x
I wonder if a naughty parent took a recently ill child to TT and thats why the illness wave :( I hope Charlie will bounce back quickly, I can't imagine what it's like having a LO in hospital.

I've been meaning to say, I LOVE the icandy cherry, now I've used it a bit I think I can declare that  it is sooo easy to push, Chris can push it really easily, its so light its like it glides!

Can you answer my question then as to where "they" say you should be aiming for all drinks in a cup (which sounds like you should be aiming for giving up bottles)?

At our one year check up when V was 13 months, the HV said that "she should be off bottles by now". She'll have water or juice from the sippy cup, but not milk. :( I'm quite happy for her to have her bedtime bottles of milk for another year at least.

Mel We've got the cheap Ikea cot too - it's really nice and there is absolutely no problem with it, unless you really need a drop side?

Hugs for Caz and Charlie. It's scarey how poorly they can become so quickly.

V seems to be over it now. A couple of wet poops earlier today, but she had loads for tea with no ill effects, and had bottle, and went to bed with no incidents!

L was sick at 6ish this morning, then 11ish on the bathroom floor. I asked if she'd not made it to the toilet in time, but she had, but was sitting on the toilet because she 'needed' too! Poor love! She's not been sick/diawoowoo since, but hasn't eaten anything either. :(

:T:j For clever rolling babies! :j:T

Sami - that's why I like it, that and it was easier to chat to her whilst walking as we could see each others faces. I can count on one hand the number of times it forwards facing.

    Hugs for L.

I have to be careful when have tummy bug as I have a habit of blacking out whilst I'm being sick. If I'm feeling sick I have to make sure I shut the bathroom door as our bathroom is so small that black out I'm at risk of banging my head on the door.

Personally, I don't give a shoite what anybody says - I am happy for Benjamin to take a bottle during the day until he is at least 18 months...or more if he wants/needs them. Probably for as long as he is a 'baby' and needs to nap during the day...maybe (not thought before I saw the discussion today)

    Stuff 'them' :p

Hugs winging there way to Caz & Charlie xx

Been to see the new Robert Patterson film tonight. T'was very good with an ending I didn't see coming!

Just popped on FB and a girl from school has put on there about the name for her new baby due in June. She already has a boy named Bailey and a Girl named Chardonnay and the new girl is going to be called Comfort (as in Southern anyone?) I think this girl has issues! Honestly I'm not that chavtastic (I apologise now if anyone has a child named any of these names )
