Tell her I love her :D

I did go into Tesco Express in Runcorn today and they had loads of clothes but I couldn't see any with a triangle on the bum. :( Glad Tia has found some.

Hugs to choking babies - Jack choked on chicken, a segment of orange and banana. Thankfully the reflex has kicked in and its come back up but had a few hairy heart stopping moments! :o He seems to have learned not to take such big bites now!

Tonight J has had a bath, massage, most of his bedtime bottle AND has gone to bed with a teddy! Friends suggestion - her friends LO will only sleep with a teddy!
Huge get well vibes to Charlie
Well done Kian drinking like a big boy!

Sami - did you buy the cot?

    Evening all..

I've been at work and then at my mum's for tea (Dad's away until late with work) :)

Have been txting Caz. She said Charlie got better then went downhill fast. They're not sure what's going on but the doctors looked worried. Charlie isn't talking and looks like a different child :( Caz say thankyou all for the vibes, they're very much needed. She'll keep me informed - reminded her my phone is always on and I'm a night owl ;)

*hugs* for the poorlies, and YAYs for the clever mummies and rolling babies (and the trouser finders!) :)

Kindof, maybe it would be an idea to just set that almost empty tub aside and try the new one. Then if he doesn't get on with the new one, you've at least for a few feeds of what he knows to give you time to nip to the shop for more of the old one, iyswim :)

I didn't say they want you off bottles at 6mths. they say you should introduce the cup at 6mth and be off bottles by 12mth.

OMG I'm watching Panorama from last night  all I've seen so far is ignorant, selfish, lazy parents

You said "past 6mth+ 'they' reckon you should be aiming for all drinks to be in a cup". Perhaps you didn't mean giving up bottles after 6 months, but that's what it sounds like.

My dentist told me of a child whose teeth were rotting and it was because the mother was giving him so many grapes thinking they were a healthy snack. Could be a scare story, but perhaps not as they are heavy in natural sugars.

Glam - fingers crossed the teddy helps Jack! Holly loves her Taggie Blanket. I wouldn't say that she doesn't go to sleep without it and it's not quite a comforter, but if she is a bit fractious, I find it does help. Then she puts it over her face anyway!

oh sorry I thought I'd quoted Mel asking about the cot then didn't notice it not come up
I got the sniglar £39 one, looks quite nice actually! Chris was straight in there with him lol poor Ed can never escape his big bro :p I took a pic of them but I'm watch panorama on the iphone so can't show you yet.

god seriously! "Alfie can have 4-5 lolly pops a day" "I feel like it's my fault" thats coz it is!

    Evening,

Get well vibes all round, but extra hugs for Charlie and Caz.

Congratuations SM - when's the practical?

Katie says thank you for all the birthday wishes.

Her inhaler eventually took effect and we managed some sleep.

Even better news is all the things I ordered from Amazon have arrived, the Gruffalo toy has not left her hand all day. We're currently on the second viewing of the DVD.

SIL and family been and gone - my HM pizza was a big hit, her kids are now demanding that she buy a breadmaker so she can do it!

Katie loves her wendy house, DH is digging out a child size table and chair out for the garage to put in there. Her favourite game though is getting someone to sit inside whilst she posts a folded piece of paper through the door!

OH & BF - my DH is very supportive of me still feeding Katie - not that we do it in public - but when we did he always made sure I was comfy and was a daddy lion prepared to take on anyone if they dared complain, not that they ever did.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Fitzio - he's never really been attached to anything but I left him in the cot and he was eating teddy's legs and then when I went to check on him, he had him pressed right up to his face  teddy is called Gorgeous George
It was our nickname for J when he came out of hospital and it felt weird calling him Jack!!!

The boys are playing 'a girl' on FIFA  I soooooooo hope they lose :rotfl:

Sami - did it fit in the car?! I didn't see yoru post til about 3pm otherwise I would have met you for Chips or a Hot Dog! :)

Elle - I hadn't realised you were in work again. Are you doing all 10 KIT days?

yay for chris! Spurred by the dummy convo, i just bought 2 more of the mam ones...and realised that the one he's been using is only marked to 2 months! Also randomly picked up a weaning cup...no idea why as i don't plan on starring til june :p (and he doesn't even take bottles in the 1st place!)

Erin doesn't take bottles so I've just gone straight for a doidi cup and Erin is fine with it.

Glam I bath Erin every night - it's supposed to help as it raises their temperature which is what naturally happens when you are about to go to sleep and it goes down when you are about to wake up - I hope I have that the right way round!
    ...
Sami - I am pleased you brought up the Ikea mattress thing cos we have one then I read that its meant to be waterproofed? is there something I can put on it?
    ...

Kindof I got some disposable mattress protectors for waters breaking as a pack of 4 in boots and since I didn't use them all at the time I'm using them now under Erin's bedding.

Redmel I have a babasling. I love it as it's so quick to get on and off but only use it in the house as more than 1/2 hr and my shoulder hurts. It was a bit difficult when Erin was very small to get her comfy but now I just shove her in sitting on my hip while I get on with a few jobs and she loves it.

Get well soon vibes to Charlie and hugs for Caz

Hugs to Fitzio as well, sounds like you had a stressful day!

ss probably too late but I got Erin this seat and she loved it as did her 6 months older cousin. It needs to be quite big so it is stable.

Sorry if I missed anyone, just done a massive catch up and can't remember half of what I read|!

    Can I just say:

Andrew rolled over from back to front half-a-dozen times today :j :j :j :j :j

After a sleep though, he'd forgotten again what to do with the bottom arm :rotfl: So he's having to learn it again. I left him on the rug on my parents floor, he rolled himself over and started commando crawling out of the room before anybody noticed :rotfl:
