Lots of get well soon vibes to Charlie, and hugs for Caz xx0

Get well soon Charlie!! Hope you are coping ok Caz. x
Sami - where does it say you should be aiming for all drinks in a cup from 6 months? It was my understanding that it is recommended you stop bottles from around 1 year old, and introduce a sippy cup at around 6 months with water to get them used to the different way of drinking. But I have never read that you should be giving up bottles at 6 months??
FBB - Yes, it was SM who passed her theory! Well done SM! And good for you for treating yourself. I love waiting on a Next delivery, but I usually just order stuff in the sale and only for Holly now as I never know what size I am going to be these days! Oh to be a size 12 again!
Harley - sorry you are ill again. Good news about Kezia taking the milk though. Fingers crossed it will continue if you get it changed. If it's their mistake, they can't have any complaint really.0 -
Oh poor Charlie

Harley, hope you feel better soon.
Got some freebie weaning stuff from HIPP today, reminding myself to pop it onto the Exchange.
Sami, that makes me feel a bit less nervous about Finn's bottle refusal when it comes time to return to work...(assuming he takes to a cup!
)

I am not pregnant btw, was just checking on SJ as I didn’t think she had been on for a few days and she had last posted on the PG thread! Stalker like behaviour from me!
Aww bless you for noticing me not being around
I am fine though, been reading here and ther but just seem to be so busy.
Hugs to poorly babies and mummies, read back just a couple of pages as off to bed in a minute!
Yey for Finn rolling and any other clever babies doing things that I've missed.
:T Well done passing your theory SM - we all knew you would!
In my news I have had 6 nights of 8+ hours-in-a-row from Alfie! Even after his jabs on Monday he slept ok. Got him weighed today and he's 11lb 1oz which is fab, put on 1lb 2 oz in 3 weeks. I however am going the other way and now riight back to my pre-pg weight *smug*
I will be back soon for a better catch up but I am making the most of Dh being out and am taking myself off to bed. Should manage a 7-8 hour uninterrupted sleep which will be simply amazing!!!!!!
"See" you all soon xx0 -
Poor wee Charlie! Get well soon x0

My poor baby. Today I have managed to hit her chin whilst wrestling a remote control from her, poke her in the eye whilst removing her bib, and then she was very sick at dinner when she was seriously choking. It was horrendous, DH was feeding her whilst I was making our dinner, and she started choking and it was coming out her nose and she was quite distressed. So was poor hubby.

Hello SJ! Glad to hear Alfie is doing well and you are getting plenty of sleep. Not jealous at all about your weight! Flaming breastfeeders lol.0 -
I'm not good with those 1 shoulder types and Fritha doesn't use them herself (I think we must have similar wonky backs lol) GISI is good with her ring sling, she might be better to advise
I have one and can't get to grips with it at all. My OH used it once when bubs was about 6 weeks old and quite liked it, but I've never been able to adjust it so that he's comfortable in it. Now that he's 6 months old there is more flexibility in the positions so I could dig it out again I suppose but to be honest I feel safer with my second hand baby bjorn!
Hmmm, not sure then! I have ended up with one as it was reduced to £15 in TK Maxx and it was the last one....I walked it all around the shop and even put it back at one point, but picked it back up. I just reasoned that if I don't like it then I would probably sell it for the same anyway, it's all boxed etc:)
I tried kai in it on the side and back and he found it highly amusing for about 5 mins then wanted out:cool:
They also had a Chicco something, and one by infantino.....was looking at them too but thought this looked better for a newborn?? I don't know, I am useless with slings and I really don't want to spend out a lot on something I may not even use:osearching_me wrote: »ladies i forgot caz has my number she just texted me saying charlies not well and in hospital in a drip and they need all the vibes we can muster up xxxx
Oh poor Charlie, I bet caz is frantic....I am sure he will be right as rain in no time:D
Sami did you decide on a cot/bed in the end?
Oh my other bargain from TK Maxx was a cardi by some designer, it was previously £119 reduced to £24.99...I love it:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Poor H and OH!
I tried to feed K a stage 2 jar of carbonara and he made himself gag then projectile vomit. Its actually the first time hes ever been sick since he was a day old and very mucousy. Me no likely, he was choking on it and everything
He just doesn't do bits and lumps in food. Its got to be stage 1 puree or actual food that he holds and eats himself. That carbonara signalled the end of stage 2 jars lol0
